I friggin love the 5th Gen Prelude. The H22 with proper headers whether DC Sport, Skunk, etc., CAI, and exhaust the engine sounds beastly. Of the late 90's Honda Engines The H22 always sounded like a much bigger engine that it was. Maybe later add a Hondata S300 and cams possibly aftermarket or from a Prelude TypeS for that extra top end kick in the pants.
That black roof was a GOOD move and that second set of wheels - 👌👌👌👌

Bought my 98 prelude in 2006. Drove it until 2014 then parked it until this year. Now I have the money to make it how I want. I like your body kit. Thinging of getting one like it.

awesome car dude, im currently in 11th grade and I have a decent amount of money saved up. I'm considering buying a prelude as my first car and possibly keeping it until I have enough money to buy my "dream dream" car. I just love hondas, especially ones with vtec!

@@CalvinLude Thank you brother! I appreciate the info! I have been on Mugen GP 18x7.5 with 48 offset, and I think that only rubbed due to my old ass bushings. Some of them seriously havent been changed since Biggie was alive, since my door sticker says November 1996 on it. 😂🤣 Going to change EVERY bushing in the next year. Im currently on 17 inch RSX Type S wheels.
I had an exact same 01 manual Prelude in blue about 18 years ago. Same body styling (lips), Koni's all around, full set of upper and lower strut bars, and IHE. Great solid car that gets me around. Still think of it sometimes.
I cant wait to modify my lude, just aint got no money, next summer my lude gon be the cleanest in finland

A friend is letting me buy his and it’s an automatic prelude and I like to make things look nice and this video was awesome at giving me ideas, im probably gonna get some comments about “haha you have an auto, laaame” but I love the prelude and idc what anyone says abt my transmission. Really dope, I'm considering either buying a 3rd, 4th, or 5th gen prelude. I really want the 3rd gen with the mechanical 4ws for autocross and it will be really nice for car meets in Idaho because all there is in Idaho car meets is Wrx's and gti's nothing cool lol
Honestly dude. Buy whatever is available first🤷🏻♂️ I’ve got a project 3rd gen and im looking for a 5th gen to buy. I’m so desperate im about to pull the trigger on an automatic. I got 4ws off another car and I gotta put it in. But the 3rd gen is so hard to find parts it not even funny. Especially aftermarket

Ive had my prelude since i was 16, growing up i didnt show it alot of love and it’s disappointing. I still have the car and it stills runs and starts up on queue. Now i have my career and i want to really put some love into and build it nice like yours. If you would give me some pointers and recommendations on shops etc i would REALLY appreciate it. If not all good ik im asking you to go out you way for someone you dont know. Anyways thanks and hella nice prelude. Stay

I just got my prelude a week ago, it’s got a stock interior, 230k miles on the motor and like 100k on the trans, looking to put a new cool air intake in it and the same exhaust system you have, along with a turbo kit eventually, but I’m only 17 and don’t have a job at the moment so it will take time
