Thanks! I have the link for the relay here and I'll add it into the comment section..... some how I forgot... www.ebay.ca/itm/291739576054?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8pLFV2FzTiC&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=GRmGSDmmQQ6&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY You might be able to find something closer to where you live. I was okay waiting for the part to arrive as I already had a working board in the unit. If you need anthing else, just let me know! Dave
Installed the new board tonight, and it worked. Everything worked for about an hour... now it's giving me the same 4 led light flash 💀 felt my soul leave.
@@finalcloud17 Sorry to here that. The other issue may be the rollout limit tripping. I used the trouble-shooting chart to help me narrow my issue down. www.adpnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Troubleshooting-Guide-Unit-Heaters.pdf Unfortunately I am not a trained HVAC repairman and only a home hobbyist repair guy. Ours seems to not call for heat when thermostat is turned up. Then will randomly hear the exhaust fan kick on briefly and then will shut off it continues to do this, if I shut the power off, sometimes it will start up as it should, but then shuts off in a few minutes or less. What would cause this??
First thing, print out the trouble shooting guide, the link is in the body of the description. I would pull the cover off, then have someone either turn on the unit or raise the thermostat to call for heat. When the fan stops running, the main LED will start flashing a code. Watch and record the LED flashes and then refer to the guide as to the possible issues. This should help to narrow it down. The unit motherboard is smart enough to know there is an issue and it will shut down the unit for safety. Hope this helps you out! Dave
Hi Shawn. It's pretty easy. Shut off the power to the unit and take the cover off. Take a picture of the wiring connections. Pull all of the wire connectors from the board, some will require undoing screws. There are screws holding the board, with nylon standoffs between the board and the metal backing wall. Undo each one and then you can take the electronic board out. Installation is reverse of the same procedure. Let me know if this helps or not. Dave
Hi. Good video but normally you replace the board and not repair the old one. In the heating industry this is the standard. If that unit malfuntions with a repaired board, your insurance company will not pay for repairs. Any type of heating control, should always be replaced. Brian
Good advice Brian! Thanks for the input! I have since pulled the repaired board and put in the replacement. I intend to use the original as a temporary replacement if the second one fails during the winter, until a replacement board can be sourced.
Great video! Do you have a link to the relay you bought to repair the board?

Is the board hard to get out
