You gotta be the only person I know of on YT asking peeps to comment with concerns lol. Y’all are too nice. It’s very soothing to watch someone who is good at what they do build something from scratch. Way to go!
The exact video I needed to watch. Thank you! Yes, please make something like a normal speed video addressing planning considerations for combining shop & living quarters. Your other videos have already provided valuable design tips & features for us to keep in mind.
I’m currently designing a shop with an upstairs, and have been struggling figuring out where to put the stairs, so they are out of the way. This is awesome. Thank you guys
I've seen videos with a kind of fold-out set of stairs. They lay flat to the wall, and just pull out when you need them. My only concern would be how sturdy they are over time. Also not sure if they'd meet code.
As a journeyman in powerline work, I sure do appreciate how accurate you fellas are building homes. If lineman built your homes you would have to be drunk to walk straight! lol Carpentry is a tough trade love to see this time lapse. Awesome video!
It's always great to see two competent, knowledgeable Carpenters give er shit ! You guys rock ! I think one name for this type of building is called a barndominium.
I'll have to give you guys a call next time i need something built in 10 minutes or less. All in all hands down one of the fastest builders I've seen lol
I have been watching your videos for a couple years now. You do great work. One thing that just popped into my head now. You have the right tools for the job. There is a lot to be said for that. Go onto a construction site and watch a guy waste time figuring out how to do it without the right tools, the money spent on the correct tools is well worth every penny.
I am a carpenter and can appreciate good quality work and, that is just what I witness here. There are some videos here as well that knock Post frame and it makes me wonder who they work for, Homebuilders? I am personally in the process of building post frame in Canyon Lake Texas. Thanks for the great works brother, keep it up!!!
C'mon...killer drone shots, time-lapse master-class, content/talent unrivaled... best education I ever got, so...top-tier production, well done! R-squared is pure savage guerilla construction hardened animal
Kyle, you sold the post frame idea to me a long time ago- all the original effort and material are headed to achieve a dried in space- once the envelope is complete, all your work and materials are "inside" and out of the weather. Later, if extra children come, or you need different space, move the walls to suit the new need- the roof will wait in place, space expansions are "modular" and predictable. And you have well proven there is plenty of trim and tactic to avoid the "plain square box" problem. The plumber in me just adores the "plumb and square" nature of the thing, too! FR
I love this, I was always thinking of a workshop with a living quarters & couldn't actually think of how to design. Wow I love this & the stairs in middle, Victor in Jamaica West Indies 👍.
To bad you couldn't build my shop here in Central Ohio. Absolutely love you workmanship best in the business that I have seen. Keep up the great work and love the videos.
I am fully impressed! It's just a complete ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGqOCINHE0Z0E5gxzSdNi9NWGugRY5Hm2 plan with the best resources and step by step instructions . These shed plans are so satisfying as if the sheds build themselves on their own. Worthy work Ryan!
Love the way you sped up the video!! The building looks great and built well. You and Greg work very well together and the quality shows. Please be safe and see you on the next video.
I think I'm going this route too. The barns are all metal exterior, well insulated and spacious. With the interior outside walls insulated, no sun beating in the summer or north winds in winter, HVAC would be cheap. T-111 exterior would last forever.
Someday. Already got a sketchup model that's gone through several iterations over the last several years for a 50x80 with a relatively small house and a huge work area... as it should be.
I hope to build my barndominium in southern Indiana this year. I'm now watching as many videos and gaining knowledge that I can. I would love to see you both building your's 👍
I agree! I am trying to figure out how to plan out a partition in my post frame to separate garage from workshop. Knowing the right way to secure the framing to metal roof is important. Thanks
This a perfect setup for my sewing room, leather studio, soap and cosmetics shop, art loft and woodshop, all in one. Id love to see a full detailed tutorial
I would watch an in-depth in a heartbeat, and sure many other people will too. You guys are Killing it!
☝️
I agree 100 percent
For sure but I watch all you videos
Agreed
Same!

1:01 "Lift with back, save legs for leg day" yeah good advice and in a few years have serious back issues! Lol.

I have wanted to do this for years. With more details I thing my husband and I could do this.
It's always great to see two competent, knowledgeable Carpenters give er shit !

AMAZING WORK. THATS GOOD OL AMERICAN PRIDE AND HARD WORK RIGHT THERE. TAKE IT BACK LIKE IT USED TO BE. 🇺🇸
I'll have to give you guys a call next time i need something built in 10 minutes or less. All in all hands down one of the fastest builders I've seen lol
its so fun to watch it at this speed! How rewarding to be a builder making people dreams come true.
I wish more kids and young people would get into this field you will never be unemployed
@@toddgolling5760 but you will get stiffed
This would make an AMAZING photography / video studio with offices, conference room, break room, and storage!

That was fun. I didn't break a sweat either. I liked the music too. It went well with the fast video.
Awesome! Thank you!
I loved this !! It’s exactly what I’m wanting. Thank you for all the information explaining what you were doing while filming !

Awesome work fellas!
You guys did a good job. Wish I had that skill and knowledge.
To bad you couldn't build my shop here in Central Ohio. Absolutely love you workmanship best in the business that I have seen. Keep up the great work and love the videos.
Love it, thanks Kyle! Greg too!
Great video. I always thought that was a perfect idea of building something like this and putting my house in the back corner of it.
That's a great idea!
Or one end or on second floor.
Love to watch an in-depth home build. Watching insulate
Very nice work. Details matter. Glue at every joint and under the T+G was step above.
this guy is a pro , and should have his own show on the DYI networks , great teacher prospective he takes , like you're a new hire he's training...
great job. looks great.
That trick with the joist will definitely help me on solo projects 🍻🍯
love to watch a build like that as it is what planing now. Thank you for sharing.
That is amazing ! Someday soon !!!
Just love learning about my future home coming together. Might be 10 years out, but I’ll at least have a giant garage and space to expand.

You have the Best Team ever man
Yay buddy...god i wish building something on this scale was easy as this makes it all look. Money of course helps quite a bit
Best Builder by far!!
That's a great spot for the stairs.
You guys do awesome work. I want to build one one day too. Keep up the great videos.
It was awesome. The quick video was a great change but I like the longer ones a little better.
I really liked this format of video.
4 days? Insanely fast! Great logistics, kudos.
Man I wish I could work that fast. Very impressive!
Hav to get into the full build. I love it when you do the inside build outs
ABSOLUTELY!! love the team work
WELL DONE!!! 👏👏👏
Beautiful work fellas!
Yes looking to that same build very soon thank you great video !!!
This looks like a great time! No shitty weather to deal with as well!

cool complete video!! thanks for posting !!
Looks great, I would totally live there
Bruh! LOOKS AWESOME!
this came out darn good
Thumbs and toes up. 10 mil of them. Wish I had free time to volunteer with you. Great work.
I plan on building a shouse for myself in the near future, so an in depth video would be super helpful!

That's really cool I think that's a very smart way to build a house
Time is a measurement of movement.
You guys made quick time of that! Hehe
Definitely would watch. Love to get new ideas
Excellent work!
Well done gentlemen!
Total bachelor pad! I wish dude! If build one of those right now ill never come home lol
A practical house!! .. Today, we have BIG and MANY TOYS, requires rethinking housing entirely.
Your time-lapse stuff, GREAT entertainment. Thanks sharing.
Awesome craftsmanship ! 🙂
Excelente y muy bonito trabajo felicitaciones 👌👌👌 saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱👌💯
Nice to have a structure to protect your lumber and building materials inside.
Dry walls baby!
You guys work really fast!
Cool video my dream home there. With six cars boats jet skis and other toys perfect space.
Someday. Already got a sketchup model that's gone through several iterations over the last several years for a 50x80 with a relatively small house and a huge work area... as it should be.
Oh man that sounds cool would love to see.
This is such a cool little build!
Beautiful work!
Amazing! Way to go guys, great video, (carpenter for 10 years)
Watching this took me back to when I helped finish a shop build about 10 years ago and the journey of helping on construction hasn't stopped since.
26,000 views and only 114 comments? People WTF! By any measure, the best "fucking" build show on RUclips. Keep it up!
On want a Man shed house like this. Nice jog guys
Really enjoy the time lapse videos.
I hope to build my barndominium in southern Indiana this year. I'm now watching as many videos and gaining knowledge that I can.
I would love to see you both building your's 👍
The. Video was great, really enjoyed watching!
Have you ever thought how long it would take to bring a guy (even a talented guy) to Greg's level ? You guys are a very good team.
Yeah not really interested. Took Greg 10 years
Fantastic quality work. Thanks.
Get it fellas! 👍🏼👍🏼
Great job guys
Would have loved to see how you did the top plate on that second story room - up against the metal ceiling.
I agree! I am trying to figure out how to plan out a partition in my post frame to separate garage from workshop. Knowing the right way to secure the framing to metal roof is important. Thanks
He probably installed plates before the ceiling went in to tie into.
This a perfect setup for my sewing room, leather studio, soap and cosmetics shop, art loft and woodshop, all in one. Id love to see a full detailed tutorial
Lift with back… save legs for leg day!! Hahhahaha I’m dying - that absolutely killed me!
That was the goal
@@RRBuildings it was a level of comedy I wasn’t expecting - well played! Keep up the awesome videos!
good to see your saving Greg's calfs!
