I lost a lot of my hair from years ago. A doctor said it was alopecia, but after all these years my hair is finally growing back and I am ditching the wigs. Believe me, The Most High is able. Im praying for her and all my sisters with this condition. God sees us, he loves us. I'm a senior, we want to look nice too. Have faith God is going to answer you. Only believe. Much love ❤
I have no words. I am a 75 y/o white woman who watches your videos, one after another, and I am always so excited to see what you will do. I was going to say that your mastery at your craft amazes me, but this is more than being trained as a hairdresser. You have clearly continued to work hard to be the best . . . and you are. I'll be watching.
I don't know why my hair is thinning and my hair line is reseeding very very badly so I have to wear wigs and I hate it and I can't find anyone to do my hair,,, my depression is on sky high level,,, to see the smile on her face says it all...❤❤❤❤
@keshiacoe18 The same thing started happening to me. I went to a dermatologist and found out that I had androgenic Alopecia. This is a form of hereditary hairloss that was worsened by my hormonal imbalance.
Having issues with hair growth myself, from the looks of her hair and acne on her face she may benefit from seeing an endocrinologist it may be a hormonal issue such as PCOS, thyroid issues or high testosterone. Only speaking from experience, it happened to me and the endocrinologist got my hormones back in balance, acne is gone and now my hair is growing back when the dermatologist said it never would. It’s worth a try. Hope this helps someone else. Love, peace and joy to you for such care of your clients.
She is beautiful! Brave to not hide her face. That means a lot to the rest of us who know exactly what she is experiencing. God bless you both. I pray that her journey becomes a testimony!

Hair is like a plant it needs water and sunlight to grow wearing weaves and wigs is a no no. She is still damaging her hair. It starts with self love. Stop being weaves monkeye

Please tell your client that I appreciate her sharing her story with us. It’s very brave because we know people always have something raggedy to say when others are going through things so God bless . I lost my locs two years after eight years of growth. It was very devastating for me and I didn’t know what to do, I too went to the dermatologist and it was determined that it was hormonal. I was in the beginning stage of pre-menopause, hair loss and thinning was one of the side effects. I changed my diet to plant base. I juice every day mostly beets, carrots, celery, whatever vegetable I have available to me and the pieces of fruit, my hair has definitely grown back and I’ve restarted another set of locks. As someone stated in the comments stated a lot of times it is diet and what we put in our bodies. No judgment I just want to make the comment that if anyone is going through this to look at all avenues of what hair loss might be, diet physical ,mentally , or the produce, we use, etc. I thank you for what you are doing with individuals who are struggling to find answers for hair loss. God bless you too good work.

I suffered for years went from one cologist to the next. I removed myself from people , places, and things that stressed me, went on anti inflammatory diet , worked out, massaged my scalp and now I have thick full head of hair.
she is naturally gorgeous! Her head shaved or the weave or lacefront doesnt matter. She has beautiful features. Love the braids with the sew in. Lovely!
I wish we weren't hung up about our hair. I'm not sure the Alopecia prognosis wasn't right either. I really love the wigs and hair extensions that I found in Catford which was for me as a hairdressers daughter like heaven I wish my mum was alive. She used to do those fancy 1940s styles. My niece had chemo but her hair came back curly and brown she looked great even with wigs. I am brunette but I'm white and it looks blonde but I was a bit shocked that she saw dark hair as not as nice. I wish I could have given mine now but I didn't judge myself by my hair ... she must have felt I wasn't as lucky or not as attractive. My mum was blonde and my boys fair so my skin tone doesn't look washed out. Media is responsible for this ... I hate it we just don't see beauty. And that lady is gorgeous 😍 but nothing I can say will make it seem better. Maybe a virtual hug. Also for hairdresser... she's so kind
Yes the cornrows make it look more convincing love it love it love it natural looking it looks like it’s her hair. No one would know how would anyone know. You’re a great hairdresser.
Be encouraged, a wig comb took my sides and I stopped wearing them. I thought I would loose it if I didn’t have them snug on the sides. The 2 areas on the side will not grow back. She has beautiful features if she decides to wear a bald head, she can do that. Not everyone can, tell her she is blessed with model features, not everyone has those.
A wig comb took out my sides also, but it was very slight and also on the crown. I stopped wearing wigs because my scalp is so sensitive. Even the the band around the wig makes my scalp itch. Everything seems to make it itch….Bobby pins, hair clips, hair bands & bonnets. The hairpiece in my profile picture, haven’t worn that in a few years. I have a mild case of seborrheic dermatitis…just a dry itchy scalp. I used to have dandruff many years ago, but thankfully Selsun Blue took care of that.
I also tried for years to get the thin spots in my hair to grow back. I finally made the decision to cut my locs of 12 years off. Then I had a barber shave my head. That was 3 months ago and I absolutely love it. If I had to describe it in one word, that word would be "freedom." I have a boost of confidence that I never had. I hope this beautiful woman finds that same confidence on her journey with you. Hair has always been our crown. I chose to remove mine and realized that I'm still a reigning queen. I hope she finds a crown she is happy with. I'm glad you are helping her.
I am nearly sixty and my locs are thin and falling out. Really distressing. Thinking of shaving my head too but very, very nervous and I know I will grieve the loss of my locs without knowing if a shaved head will really suit me!
She looks gorgeous, there is sadness in her eyes, I'm loosing my edges and it's embarrassing for me. I love my hair units. I can only imagine how she's feeling about loosing her hair. God be the glory. Queen you did a great job 🙌🏽 ❤️
She's beautiful, with or without hair. Her eyes, bone structure, and skin tone are gorgeous. I pray she finds the results she wants. God bless both of you.
Her hair turned out lovely. I love her confidence in not hiding her face. I needed to see this to give me and my daughter a boost. We are our toughest critiques. She is so genuinely beatiful to me and though I don't know her, I feel that her spirit is beautiful also. ❤ Thank you ladies.
Her hair looks AMAZING! This style is very youthful on her! My mom had alopecia from stress a few years ago. It just suddenly got better, hopefully this lady has similar luck!
@@dionneshaw9127 thank you!! Unfortunately when my mom had alopecia she was going through an extremely stressful time and wasn’t using any medications to help her manage it. She has since reduced her stress level and uses antidepressants which have really helped her mood.
In spite of her few spots of alopecia her hair grew back really nice and thick 👍🏼As always Carla you did another amazing job. She looks great 👍🏼👌🏽💕May God continue to bless your hands as create, boost individuals confidence through stying HAIR!!!
I pray her hair grows back I could see it in her eyes she is hurting but it will be alright she’s a beautiful sister with or without hair and once again great job Carla ❤❤
I know scalp massages can do wonders with water and a cream/hair lotion and following up with an oil or Grease is optional. I don't know why this isn't wide spread. If you don't wanna do it with your fingers (preferred method) go in with a high quality wooden head massager every day multiple times a day to get the blood flowing and that will increase hair growth.
I think alot of people know of scalp massages stimulating blood flow. It's not new groundbreaking information. In severe cases, that doesn't even work.
This isn't just about hair, it's wellbeing, lifting your spirits, feeling good and confident bringing the inside smile out you are amazing and she is naturally beautiful 😍 🤩 ❤
Hello from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 You truely have been born with a special gift! I have never, ever seen anyone that can work hair the way you DO! Its totally amazing. The self confidence you bring to these beautiful women. God bless you and your gift! 😊❤
I came across this video purely by chance and saw this brave woman.. I ended up watching through to the end and WOW.. I've never seen anything like this in my life!! I was captivated the entire time! Carla you are a miracle worker! You have an incredible skill and you are blessing lives.. Thank you to this courageous woman and yourself for sharing.. ❤
Agreeing with all coments I've read. Wish I knew an artist like you Carla.I permanently wear a wig and I live in a hot country.😓 Haven't got the courage to do a complete shave, and cannot find a decent wig unless I travel which is not often since Covid
I have had alopecia since I was 9 years old. I’m 52 now and completely bald. The crazy thing is it was easier for me to get over the sadness of being a bald lady when all my hair fell out. When I had some hair it’s like you’re still holding out hope for it to grow back. I’m so happy you can make her feel beautiful. That’s a hard thing for a woman to go through. Sending some love and hope to my alopecia sister 💙
I remember yall well... I love her transparency. I pray her hair recovers because she didn't have to let us into her business, but she did. you're a boss hairdress, and she's happy ❤. I'm following cause I wanna see if the oil works😊
When she closed her eyes as you were braiding it brought back all kinds of memories for me! Makes me miss my mum. What a brave woman to be online like this, we honour your journey and you look amazing! So glad we got to see her smile at the end, she has a beautiful smile.
You are amazing Carla. Without stylists like you, women who suffer from alopecia would be hiding out in their homes. You help make women feel beautiful again! ❤
I’m not a doctor by any means, but I think she should see a nutritionist. She has some pretty severe skin problems in addition to the hair loss. It probably wouldn’t solve everything but I think a lot of things for her would improve if she changed her diet.
WHEN i WENT TO Cosmetology, years ago,I thought that styling was all about vanity, and it made me angry because of this.I didn't want to encourage vanity. But now I see that it is also about human dignity, and being able to look your best, even when our bodies don't provide the hair that we need to have that dignity.Thank you for showing me how this skill could bless someone so much!
I'm so impressed with Ms. Carla's loving and calm spirit. She is clearly endowed with a special gift. Blessings to her for sharing this talent with so many suffering from this painful disease.
I love the cornrow braids framing her face. She seemed to me to have more healthy hair than I remember from the last time. I take that as an encouraging sign for her future. Thank you for giving her back her confidence and beautiful smile! You truly have an amazing talent to make people look and feel their best.
The only thing I worry about is all the tugging and pulling and no air getting to the head surely makes the hair fall out more ya pulling on the roots all the time, just be aware of that, and yes so happy to see that lady happy again🎉🎉🎉❤
I too am living with alopecia and went through a lot of the same steps, dermatologist shots, tricholgist countless oils and NOTHING brought my hair back. But Rogaine for me did show some sort of growth. However once on it, it's for life or your hair will revert back. It took 3 months of consistent use to see results. I stopped once or twice and it took the same amount of time to revert. This with cleaning up her diet as suggested by others may possibly help. She's GORGEOUS naturally and don't need much, but I definitely can relate to her hair issues.
You didthat gf... not to mention shes already an attractive women with or without hair, so your enhancement just made her complete, as well as more beautiful. The smiles you get from your great work are Absolutley priceless....❤❤❤❤❤
She looks amazing!!!!!😊 Wow will thank her for me please. For being brave and confident to allow us to see her beautiful face light up when her hair was all done ❤
First of all I want to say that God blesses the works of people hands I've seen this woman self-esteem went from 0 to 110 just looking at different segments and when you finish putting the hair on her head and brushing the hair down how she became confident. You did good work👏👏
I have been a hairdresser for 56 years and what you do is amazing for these people with alopecia I'm so glad you use your knowledge to help them beautiful work!!
You did an awesome job, Carla. You didn't just fix on the hair piece, you bore in mind her comfort, convenience and fundamental objective of growing back her hair. What a transformation. The corn rows are a beautiful plus. I like them.
I found this video fascinating, I had no idea what and how a weave was created. The work and patience you ladies go through is inspiring hehehe, this reminds me of the days when I would get spiral perms......patience patience 😊 The corn rows look really nice on your client....gives a young playful look. Love your videos...I am hooked on them
Ma'am you are awesome two ladies you just put your foot on the gas a didn't stop beautiful.blnlove the way you glued that hair in up front to make it invisible. Great job with the two braids very classy touch and she looks better now 😍❤
The anointing of the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost resides in your hands I am in tears I am in tears I don't have any hair issues, I have all of my hair on my head, I have my edges, I don't have alopecia, I don't wear weaves because it will cause me to have seborrhea issues but how you did her hair for her scalp to breathe I might have to come to you to get that done like that but you are a blessing wherever you are in this world you are a blessing. I am always amazed when I watch you I see the Holy Spirit my God! I hope this beautiful woman finds that same confidence on her journey with you. Hair has always been our crown. I chose to remove mine and realized that I'm still a reigning queen. I hope she finds a crown she is happy with. I'm glad you are helping her.
I have always said that if I have to cut my locs off I'm going back to my short, curly afro. It was easy to maintain for sure.
@@aquarius8325 Thats how I wore it before the locs and I loved that too. Going back to it wouldnt have worked with my hair thin in the middle.
Great words❤
I am nearly sixty and my locs are thin and falling out. Really distressing. Thinking of shaving my head too but very, very nervous and I know I will grieve the loss of my locs without knowing if a shaved head will really suit me!
Beautiful!👍🏽
She looks gorgeous, there is sadness in her eyes, I'm loosing my edges and it's embarrassing for me. I love my hair units. I can only imagine how she's feeling about loosing her hair. God be the glory. Queen you did a great job 🙌🏽 ❤️
Yes! To God be the glory 💯💖💖💖💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰!
I locked my hair to avid hair loss complete
Great talent u have been blessed!
She's beautiful, with or without hair. Her eyes, bone structure, and skin tone are gorgeous. I pray she finds the results she wants. God bless both of you.
I agree with everything you said. Also, I think she looked great with a shaved head.
She has a great head shape and beautiful features. She could rock that shaved head! 😘
You are not a hairdresser, you are a surgeon, an anointed one too. May your gifting continue to flourish🙏🏾
❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
The best part was her smile at the end. Thanks Carla!❤
The difference in her face from the beginning to the end says it all. You made her feel beautiful, good on you!
Beautiful!!!
I know that look too well.
❤
Yes, the two braids were perfect… God bless her heart… I actually suffer from alopecia as well. I understand that sadness 😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤
Her hair looks AMAZING! This style is very youthful on her! My mom had alopecia from stress a few years ago. It just suddenly got better, hopefully this lady has similar luck!
God bless your mother. ❤
What did she do for it to start getting better?
@@dionneshaw9127 thank you!! Unfortunately when my mom had alopecia she was going through an extremely stressful time and wasn’t using any medications to help her manage it. She has since reduced her stress level and uses antidepressants which have really helped her mood.
Her smile is priceless!
Wow u are awesome your clients always look please
In spite of her few spots of alopecia her hair grew back really nice and thick 👍🏼As always Carla you did another amazing job. She looks great 👍🏼👌🏽💕May God continue to bless your hands as create, boost individuals confidence through stying HAIR!!!
You did a great job .Now she looks beautiful.Women always feel better when they’re done .Great Job!!!
I pray her hair grows back I could see it in her eyes she is hurting but it will be alright she’s a beautiful sister with or without hair and once again great job Carla ❤❤
but with putting on those things will not promote growth. The stylist is talanted though.
@@charmainede-gannes5718 it probably never will but building up her confidence is what matters
Wow
I have heard that many times from all ethnicities.
Interesting!❤
I think alot of people know of scalp massages stimulating blood flow. It's not new groundbreaking information. In severe cases, that doesn't even work.
Absolutely gorgeous!!
This isn't just about hair, it's wellbeing, lifting your spirits, feeling good and confident bringing the inside smile out you are amazing and she is naturally beautiful 😍 🤩 ❤
Hello from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
You truely have been born with a special gift! I have never, ever seen anyone that can work hair the way you DO! Its totally amazing. The self confidence you bring to these beautiful women. God bless you and your gift! 😊❤
She’s so beautiful before and after! I know hair loss is heartbreaking. This style is nice and youthful for her.
Praying for the restoration of her hair follicles. 🙏🏼

@@stormie1785is she groing any hair back ???? 😊
Red onion juice I used to message in my mom’s scalp when she was alive. Her hair grew back.
Great job! I suffer from alopecia, and it is not easy to be confident when you are always worried about your hair, especially wearing wigs.
It's tough!
Me too😢
I love it❤. She looks so much younger. Thank you for your understanding towards your clients.
I remember yall well... I love her transparency. I pray her hair recovers because she didn't have to let us into her business, but she did. you're a boss hairdress, and she's happy ❤. I'm following cause I wanna see if the oil works😊
FOR REAL she didn't, but this sister's hands are loving magic! 🙏
your location. You are the best and your names your cornrow also looking good my mom need help❤it
Keep up the good work.putting smiles on theses ladies face its priceless❤❤❤❤
When she closed her eyes as you were braiding it brought back all kinds of memories for me! Makes me miss my mum.
What a brave woman to be online like this, we honour your journey and you look amazing! So glad we got to see her smile at the end, she has a beautiful smile.
You are amazing Carla. Without stylists like you, women who suffer from alopecia would be hiding out in their homes. You help make women feel beautiful again! ❤
Fabulous work. Women’s hair loss is devastating. Please keep us posted on her progress.
Her smile says it all🥰😍Amazing transformation. Talented hands. God Bless them
Both ☮️❤️🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
She feels so much better, I can see the relief in her smile! You really are doing God's work ❤
Love the cornrows and i adore that this beautiful install was done with camouflage and health of her regrowth in mind! Youre a gift to woman❤
I’m not a doctor by any means, but I think she should see a nutritionist. She has some pretty severe skin problems in addition to the hair loss. It probably wouldn’t solve everything but I think a lot of things for her would improve if she changed her diet.
Also, doing a sew in May not be good all the time due to pulling on the braids (hair). Just a suggestion not trying to be rude.
That’s not a bad idea 😊 20:37
Thank you for being a blessings to those in need of hair TLC🎉❤
The cornrows enhanced the style and you did a wonderful job, she looks beautiful 😊❤
The client is beautiful Carla and you did an amazing job! Its incredible how you can braid the shortest of hair! I love the cornrows! ❤👑
❤
She did that ❤
I wish you lived in Pa I'm not far from Pittsburgh I'm about 3 or 4 hours from Pittsburgh I would love for you to do my hair.
She is absolutely gorgeous with or without, no cap!!!
The only thing I worry about is all the tugging and pulling and no air getting to the head surely makes the hair fall out more ya pulling on the roots all the time, just be aware of that, and yes so happy to see that lady happy again🎉🎉🎉❤
I don't see any pulling and tugging on her hair and she fixed it so she would get plenty air. a job well done
She did such a good job. Super star
Her hair has grown. That’s awesome. Your hands are truly blessed. She looks beautiful. That looks so natural on her
WOW THATS SO TRUE!!! HER HANDS ARE BLESSED!!!!! YOU SAID IT GIRL!!!
I definitely liked the added touch of the braids! It really enhanced the look!

She's even beautiful with her head shaved, and no makeup but I still hope that she can experience her own hair again ❤
You really outdid yourself! You helped bring back her confidence and the style really suited her. Well done, my fellow queen.

First of all I want to say that God blesses the works of people hands I've seen this woman self-esteem went from 0 to 110 just looking at different segments and when you finish putting the hair on her head and brushing the hair down how she became confident. You did good work👏👏

So cute! I love it! She is a pretty lady! A lot of us suffer from hair loss. She ain’t alone. Very nice job!👋🏾
Great job with the two braids very classy touch and she looks better now 😍❤
Wishing her much success with hair growth!
I just my God I just can't imagine that if you were not created to do what you do that there will be women who would be lost you are an anointed vessel of the Holy Ghost and I praise God for you, thank you for what you do 👏🏾🙏🏾🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I am amazed at your level of skill. I have never seen how this type of procedure is done. Wow! Very impressive!!😀
Honey, you're a hair guru. Take a bow❤
This same thing - alopecia and acne - happened to me, turned out to be celiac disease. Changing my diet helped with the acne, not so much the alopecia.
What was contributing to the Celiac disease ? Thanks for sharing @@@!
