💎Crystal💎 Your wash n go came out great!!😍😍 I tried this gel twice, so far, and I kept experiencing flakes 😩 (I actually did a little review on it) But I paired it with their Soft As Can Be 3-in-1 conditioner but I got the same results. It was recommended that I should've sealed the conditioner with an oil, then use the gel. So I'll try that again! 🤗

I've used the Mane Choice gel in wash and go routines. I paired it with black castor oil ( gel then castor oil). I also used it between shampoos, first spraying my hair with alkaline water, then applying gel.

Crystal! Notification Squad! Lydia I LOVE the mane choice! I have used that gel multiple times! Your hair always looks bomb gurl your curls are always on fleek just like right here! Me personally I hardly ever go in with gels alone unless its curly magic (Uncle funky's), curl maker (camille rose), or (Mielle organics) honey and ginger styling gel. When I use that gel I will pair it with the "3in1 leave in" by the mane choice or the "easy on the curls detangling conditioner" by the mane choice. They all are from the same line ( I believe it's their original line) my wash and go is BOMB! I have definition and volume with a medium gel cast! If you can try one of those combos! The 3in1 leave in I recommend because it has AMAZING SLIP and it originally made for the crystal orchid gel! (Also Naptural85 SWEARS by that 3in1 leave in!) Love you xoxo!
that gel never gave me a strong hold, it did the opposite. i hated it because it was tooo soft with zero hold lol i think it looks ok on you but it'd look better if the gel had shine to it. i love ur shiny curls, it's hard to find gels that make ur hair shine lol. CRYSTAL

Omg thought it was just me after watching her video. Yes agree the result of soft hold is common for the mane choice tropical Moranga gel. It’s so hard to find a healthy gel with hold. So ladies did you use a leavein ?
I wanted to love it, your wash and ho turned out amazing. Mine in the other hand was a nightmare!!! This gel was so flaky I wanted to cry. I had to put my hair up in a tight bun to get out of the house. I pair it up with my regular leave in from Garnier Fructise. 😭
I use this gel and it’s one of the few that actually work for me. I have 2b/2c/3a hair and I pair it with DevaCurl b’leave in and as I am curling jelly and it works soooo well for me

Crystalllllll!! Your hair looked great!! I have tried this gel. I paired it with the Mane Choice Doesn't get BUTTER than this. It felt weird at first when applying it, but when it dried it felt so soft and the definition was AMAZING!! However, after 5 days of a GREAT wash n go, I washed it out and my hair felt AWFUL!!!!!! I don't know what it was, but it took 3 days for my hair to feel normal again!!

Your wash n go looks gorgeous. Crystal 💎. I bought this gel along with the easy on the curls line (shampoo & conditioner, 3 in 1 revitalizer, leave in and the deep condition). I believe it grew my hair a lot because the products are infused with biotin, vitamin A/E. Although the second time I used and it flaked so I used JBCO which stopped the flakes. My little curls have blossomed since using her products!

tried the Mane Choice biotin infused gel...I had to rinse it out the next day and start over.... my hair was really dried out....I used a leave in moisturizer under it ...and it didn't work for my hair....used the ORS Shea butter and Mango leave in conditioner and curl boosting jelly....
as usual it works perfectly....I love this stuff....will be taking back the biotin infused gel to target.
Oh darn! Yeah it seems that this gel can have mixed results for certain people but I guess that just goes to show that not everything works the for everyone. I'm glad you have a good combo that works for you! ❤️

I still have a lot of this product in my stash since I haven’t been doing many wash and goes lately. After I didn’t like it because it caused flakes but if I add an oil along with a cream prior to using it then that helps. Your hair came out beautifully! Purple looks gorgeous on you 💜

I'm with you.. I didn't like this gel for my wash and go... It shrunk my hair all the way to my scalp.. Which isn't bad but it didn't move... I liked it for my perm rods... But it's been awhile since ive used it.. I had to toss it cause it had spoiled. I do wanna try it again though(maybe). CRYSTAL IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

I always use a leave in. This gel with the Tropical Moringa leave in from Mane Choice is magic. I can get a 7 day wash and go!
i love that mane choice gel, i use it to slick my hair down and it works really good for that. i used it once for a wash and go but i made the mistake of not letting my hair fully dry so my hair came out really frizzy. your wash and go came out nice to me though. crystal 💎

Crystallllllllllll💜💎 I've tried this gel on different occassions. Never tried it with a leave in so I'll have to try it. If you use to much, it will definitely flake! It didn't give me shine either. But with my braid out, I did have good definition. BTW your hair looks great!
Yeah it’s definitely not the best gel in the entire world but it does get the job done if you work with it in a certain way which can be a good and a bad thing

Crystal!!! Hey Lydia your hair looks great! I just tried that gel for my wash and go. I paired it with Shea Moisture Low Porosity Leave In and it was pretty good. I had no crunch, great hold and my hair wasn’t overly dry as some gels will. I also purchased the Mane Choice 3 in 1 leave in so I’ll try that one next time. Thx for the review! 😉👍🏽

Don’t waste your money
CRYSTAL. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this gel with people saying it flakes. Maybe it needs some sort of leave in like you used because it didn’t flake or have a gel cast. So now I might spend the coin knowing that. Thanks for the video

Crystal. Hey Lydia. In my opinion, I don’t think the Almond Marshmallow serum should be combined with a gel. Their serum in particular acts like a gel, and this is why that line includes a leave-in spray. If you decide to revisit that crystal gel, try using a leave-in cream. The Mane Choice seems to have some great ones. 👍💯🌸

I have 2c/3a and I love this gel been using it a year actually and Im on my second jar now I get the best results and it def is a strong hold gel for me I pair it with a leave in and a Custard which ever one I feel like using at the moment it has worked with all of them

Crystal💎 I love this gel! It always gives great hold/definition. And I always pair it with a creamy leave-in or cream-based styler because it can be a little on the dryer side like you said. But girl have you tried the braid-out glaze from their tropical moringa line? It has SUPER hold to it and you def would not need to use a lot of it lol
Yeah I agree! And I LOVE the braid out glaze. It works a lot better Han the biotin gel in my opinion. I used it in my review of the endless moisture collection 😁

I love love love that product on my hair my only issue with is is that it gets super flaky and I get the white stuff in my hair. I’m not sure what to pair with it to get rid of that flakiness

I found it to be super drying! Not when it dried but when I was washing it out. It was as if the super thick moisturizing leave I paired underneath it wasn’t even there. Same thing with my 3 year old who has different curl pattern/thickness. I love the hold so I’m on the search for a good pairing.

I’ve used it before, just re-purchased today. In the past I’ve paired it with the leave-in from the line.
ive always wanted to try it out. my left side of my hair ( like if i part it on the side ) is always frizzy no matter what i use. i have three products that make it not frizzy but im looking for something that's less but smooths my hair and holds it sooo i dont know. it looks really good in your hair !

so far this product is very good! i really like the smell tbh. it has my hair smelling good af 😍. i love how it’s not sticky. the product drys fast and my hair really doesn’t have frizz. i notice on day 2 when i combed through my hair it gets flakey all over objects. but i don’t see flake on my hair though.
I’ve paired it with a leave in and I’ve been using it for my twist outs. Today I used it for the first with my wash n go. Still waiting for it to dry and I’ll see what it looks like tomorrow
