Highly recommend eggee‘s! Not so much for the sandwiches (although they’re actually pretty good) but the eggee’s themselves are delicious! My go to is a strawberry piña, but the flavors of the month is usually good and I LIVE for the ranch fries👌🏽🤤
Another great place to go if you want a great view of Tucson sunsets and the city lights at night is the campbell lookout. Just drive to the top of campbell and there’s places to park-it’s so beautiful and only like 15minutes from campus!!
Funny how much has changed. I went to the U of A in the mid 90s, and we definitely would have mentioned Bison Witches, The Cup Cafe, and Bookman's (of the places that still exist, some of the classics like Two Pesos and The Velvet Tea Garden have been shut down). For entertainment, there's 2nd Saturdays Downtown which is a monthly event with live music and street vendors, and the 4th ave street festival which happens twice a year. For daily entertainment, we did movies at Gallagher and The Loft, laser light shows at Flandrau, Comedy Corner's improv, and The Gaslight Theater.

Lemmon might not be so nice when you return in the fall since big horn fire is still active it’s been i believe more than a week I live in Sahuarita and at night you can see the flames and I live basically on the opposite side of town it’s soo sad 😔 oh and also something you might want to look into is a off roading rental place in the Catalinas where you can rent the cars there as well Incase you haven’t meet ppl here that have Rzrs! And other things to do is defy basically like get air but better for us who are older lol! A place you can try is seis kitchen they have 2 locations in Tucson & north Italia which is also at la encantada 👌🏼

Definitely check out Catalina state park and Romero pools in Oro Valley if you want to hike it’s so beautiful!! Also you have to tumamoc hill in you live in Tucson!

Cartel Coffee is amazing! I loved going there too, but unfortunately the place got smashed and destroyed bc of the violent looting that went on the side of the blm protests 😭😭😭😭
Lol first 3 restaurants are crap on University that cater to 99% college kids (illegal Pete's, no anchovies, gentle Ben's) Miss Saigon pho is just ok (Try dao tai pans or Com Tam Thuan Kieu Restaurant instead, hands down the best pho of my life.) (For ramen, kiwami hands down.) Zinbuger is good but pricey for burgers Guadalara is overpriced white people Mexican food. (We are surrounded by legit Mexican food here in Tucson, don't go here lol) Aj's super expensive rich people grocery store Culinary dropout, super overpriced and average food (this is a hype train place, the spot shallow people want to be seen at and take pictures at🙄) Riley's pizza closed but it was good
