what i love about sorted foods (which makes it different and better than other online cooking shows) is that its not just one person talking to the camera, its a friendly discussion which makes me want to keep watching.
Woohoo! This came in just in time. I decided I only wanted to eat chicken this week, because too lazy to cook anything else, and bought like 5 packs of chicken breasts. Can't wait to make that lemon and sage one!
Just finished eating the chicken teriyaki with a crunchy salad and it was amazing. The flavour was quite different, refreshing and really appetising; the result has encouraged me to try more of your recipes. I think I will go for the bacon and leak pasta next as you all seemed to really enjoy eating it !
I've tried 2 out of 3 of these recipes. So far, I've had the Teriyaki Skewers and the Lemon and Sage Chicken. For sure, the Lemon and Sage Chicken was the best. I've been really into making SortedFood recipes. I've done the Skewers, Lemon and Sage Chicken, Chicken Katsu Curry and the BBQ Chinese Pork. All were amazing. I really love the potato salad on the Lemon and Sage Chicken Recipe. I use it with all SortedFood recipes now. Tomorrow, I'm doing corndogs from Sorted. Can't wait.
I love the teriyaki skewers because I am very fond of japanese cuisine.I would love it if you guys tried to make some more japanese dishes and desserts, for example green tea ice cream, miso soup, tempura. Love your channel, food is my passion and your videos are both inspirational and fun to watch, keep it up xx
love this format of video, will have to give to roast chicken a try, what I do with a chicken breast while at uni however is butterfly it, put some baked beans in the middle, fold it back together, put some mature cheddar on top, bake it in the oven and serve it with mash and the rest of the beans, really nice, great video guys
I just made the lemon and sage chicken and it was absolutely delicious! I just forgot to check whether I still had enough mayonnaise before getting my groceries, so instead I chucked in some crème fraîche. Worked as well! Great recipe, can't wait to try the others!
Definitely going to try the first one with the couscous.. I love that you guys use all the tesco products because it mean I can get them here in ireland!
Such a fun video! It's like being at the Live Google+ Hangout all over again. I like all three of them but if I must choose, I'll pick the first and second chicken dish because I never tasted those flavour combinations before.
Loving the sound of the new series! you managed to fit three beautiful dishes into one video without it seeming crammed, but keeping it interesting. :)
I do consider myself to be THE #1 fan of MIKE. And as such he could not look any better than he does on this video, and that is saying a lot. He always looks the best and today he looks the best, best, best, best, best best as my friend Joan Rivers would say. The absolute dream supreme . Thank you mum and dad for giving us such a beauty to enjoy.
Sorted Food needs to open their own restaurant, I would honestly fly over to England just to eat there! Ben could be the incredible chef, Barry could be the cheeky waiter, Jamie could be the charming host, and Mike could be the live entertainment with his angelic voice!
Great new series and some really cool ideas. What I'd love to see though is Barry, Jamie and Mike trying to cook things for Ben (either collectively or in competition with each other) and him judging them. I think that would be hilarious and might make the rest of us feel better about our less than perfect culinary skills :P
love the new series - one question though: you did say you could do the first one on the bbq, but how would you then do the stock and lemon part?in a seperate pan? thanks for helping out
@5:14 when they are talking about "slivering" the chicken you can hear the voice we all come to know and love as janice! Idk if this is the first time! But i was rewatching for the couscous recipe and noticed
Would love to see you guys do some more chili recipes! I know of a great one for white chicken chili, But I'd love to see you all pick something different!
Those teriyaki chicken skewers look amazing! Anything with Asian flavors usually wins for me with Indian being a close second. They all look so good though and the idea to cook the couscous in the leftover stock is genius - I will have to try that sometime.
Barry nailed it calling them "winner-winner-chicken-dinner". If I have to decide between those three, I have to choose the first one. Incredibly fast and easy!
I think this is a really good series, gives you a different kind of inspiration, as well as good recipes. I'd love to see this, not just with different kinds of meat, but also vegetables and other kinds of ingredients, not just the trivial ones.
SORTED Food Awesome :) I am an educated chef myself, so I am keeping a keen eye one almost everything that you guys throw out here, not for stealing recipes of course, but for the sheer entertainment and inspiration you give people around the globe.
I would really like to make the moroccan chicken dish,as i have cous cous in my cupboard and have no idea how to cook it. (but now i do!) I think pairing it with chicken would be scrumptious but the problem is, I don't think rasoul hanout is available to me. What do you reckon would be the best substitute for this? I hope you reply!!! :D
All amazing! But you could try sesame chicken. Chicken flattened the same way as with the cous cous dish, and left over night in sesame oil, ginger, soy sauce, lime juice and zest. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before grilling, if you like, and serve in a bed of greens leaves (i find generous helpings of mint work quite well!)
Gentlemen nice set of 3 outstanding recipes for chicken. now you asked the question which is the best it's a hard one to answer. To give the correct answer would have to taste each one. But based just on watching the video I would have to say the Teriyiaki would be the way I would vote. Anyway very nice series subbed!
If grilling the teriyaki chicken in an oven, should I leave the oven door wide open, leave the door ajar, or close the door? Also, if I'm not using skewers, should I cook the chicken for longer (since they're not getting cooked from the inside by the metal skewers)? Thanks for the great videos!
NEW 3 set challange! 3 of the best sandwiches! Top tip, perfect cooked steak, cheese, onion & mushroom filled baguette.. Ahhh just made one & it's fantastic!!
That Teriyaki one looked amazing. I quite often brown chicken breasts off then poach them whole in some form of tomato sauce (I will just throw whatever into Pasata) and then when that is cooked I'll mix it into some pasta I've boiled earlier, this is only when I can't be arsed cooking though I'll either do this or make Piri Piri burgers 'cause all I need to do there I whack some spices and herbs with hot sauce, lemon, garlic and oil in a bag with some chicken and then fry that later when it's marinaded for a while :)
We just made the Lemon and Sage Chicken for the first time. Quick to make, and got it almost perfect the first time. We'll add more spices to the chicken next time, but it was a 9/10. Very good.
I really enjoyed this video! Chicken can become a bit boring but I loved these 3 recipes. I would love to see more videos for vamped up chicken recipes!
As always, great video! I was wondering, how can I substitute ras el hanout paste? Should I just mix together some of my favourite spices with a little oil or water, or is there another way to do it? My local supermarket has a terrible spice selection!
OMG it's so hard to choose between the three dishes. But I do have a question for Ben, what was the spice paste you used for Barry's morrocan dish? And where would I be able to find it? Thanks and Cheers fellas
Two great dishes to try are Butter chicken and korean ginseng korean soup! I am korean so i like spices and garlic alot so please put them in if you decide to do this!!!
Would fish sauce or hoisin sauce for the kababs' marinade do well? I mean, for a different flavor mash up than the go to teriyaki, akin to a Thai flavor and use freshly squeeze of lime to brighten up the overall dish?
Love the format. A little bit more short geeky explanations when applicable (such as the butter temp and marinating for tenderness) would be awesome :3
This might sound like a really silly question...but does it matter if you don't have a griddle or bbq or anything like that for the morrocan one. Can you just whack it in a frying pan? all these look delicious! can't wait to try!
That chicken couscous looked delicious, a quicker version of the Eyecandy you did awhile back, which was also delicious :D However, is there any kind of substitute for the paste? When I made the Eyecandy couscous I seasoned tomato paste with oil and a number of herbs and spices for good effect.
I've been looking at making the teriyaki chicken for a while now, but I do have one question. Since I don't have any metal (or wooden) skewers would I have to increase the cooking time since the skewer won't be cooking the chicken from the inside? If anyone can answer this question that be awesome!!!
So, I've been given some Ras el Hanout by my friendly Moroccan neighbour... Except it's in powder form. How do I turn it into a paste? Btw, the smell is amazing!
Almothana Alghamdi Ah, just yesterday I was telling my friend how I can't believe that there's apparently hundreds of thousands of people who speak English and think that "chicken" means a female only bird. I'll have to show him your comment as proof. I have yet to figure out if it's the parents, or the school system, or the person's own ignorance that makes them think that. Just for the record, "chicken" is the species, like "human", "hen" is the female, like "woman", and "rooster/cock" is the male, like "man". Chickens can be male or female. Please stop being one of those people that doesn't understand that. Or not, whatever.
Okay one question, for the last recipe, what type of soy sauce would you suggest using. I went looking and of course there were like 6 different bottles. I assumed the ingredients were the same but after reading them barely any of the ingredients were common. These were different brands as well so any help would be great!
just started watching these... and subscribed since it was free. but have they made any food thats swedish inspired? would be fun to see! (probably gonna look around and see if i can find one already on the channel).
“Do you want me to get you a sprig of mint?“
“Nah, I'm good“
HAS FAME CHANGED HIM
I like how Barry Mike and Jamie are like "hey I'm making ____" and yet its Ben who's actually doing all the work xD
i thought that the others would cook and Ben would be tasting and judging them
Lol
Ya ikr! The others are great, but Ben is more of "Stand back, your doing it wrong, just let me take over" guy.
+Simalacrum exactly my thoughts :D
sowmya reddy, the idea was they would help with simple parts like chopping things and learn by watching.
It worked, they can really cook now.
You guys have the best job ever. You get to muck about, cook, film, travel the globe and eat so much amazing food!
I know right !?
what i love about sorted foods (which makes it different and better than other online cooking shows) is that its not just one person talking to the camera, its a friendly discussion which makes me want to keep watching.
I think this is definitely a winner of a series. I love all Sorted videos, but this one is definitely at the top now!
Woohoo! This came in just in time. I decided I only wanted to eat chicken this week, because too lazy to cook anything else, and bought like 5 packs of chicken breasts. Can't wait to make that lemon and sage one!
Talk about good timing!
That roast chicken with sage has become a family staple with us. Super easy and tasty 😊
Angela Davis Glad you're enjoying it! :)
Just finished eating the chicken teriyaki with a crunchy salad and it was amazing. I love how they're all "I'm going to cook", but then it's still just Ben.
I dont think Ben trust's the others.. LOL
Exactly what I was thinking...
Not one, or two but THREE SORTED recipes in one day?
Christmas must have come early **looks at watch** :D
I've just started staying on my own because of uni and my stomach will forever be indebted to your channel. Loving everything! :)

I just made the lemon and sage chicken and it was absolutely delicious! I just forgot to check whether I still had enough mayonnaise before getting my groceries, so instead I chucked in some crème fraîche. Worked as well! Great recipe, can't wait to try the others!
All of the dishes look amazing, and it was really a treat seeing everyone in the kitchen. I can't wait for the next one.
I made the chicken with sage and couscous tonight for my family. They loved it!
Love your work boys
This whole channel is torture when you're hungry
Made the lemon & sage roasted chicken last night. Absolutely delicious! Thank you!
Ben's wearing his new chef's jacket! Great recipes guys! Keep up the good work! :)
I hope you do more of this series, very fun and interesting! I would eat all of these recipes today!
Loved it! I've been looking for ways to change it up in the kitchen--now I know where to begin!
Great start to this new series guys! Look forward to more!

I absoulutely love this new series! I would like to see "3 things to do with: Tofu"
Great new series and some really cool ideas. What I'd love to see though is Barry, Jamie and Mike trying to cook things for Ben (either collectively or in competition with each other) and him judging them. I think that would be hilarious and might make the rest of us feel better about our less than perfect culinary skills :P
Loving the new series. I just made lamb marinated in ras el hanout last night. It's my new favorite spice mix.
All three of these look amazing!!! But I personally can't wait to try out the Moroccan chicken - that couscous in particular looks incredible.
This is the BEST SERIES EVER! Must make them all!
love the new series - one question though:
you did say you could do the first one on the bbq, but how would you then do the stock and lemon part?in a seperate pan?
thanks for helping out
@5:14 when they are talking about "slivering" the chicken you can hear the voice we all come to know and love as janice! Idk if this is the first time! But i was rewatching for the couscous recipe and noticed
Would love to see you guys do some more chili recipes!
I know of a great one for white chicken chili, But I'd love to see you all pick something different!

Chicken breast glazed in a Jack Daniels barbecue sauce with sesame seeds and chilli flakes is just simply delicious.
*****
Sounds awesome on chicken, since I can't eat steak.
Gonna have to try that. Sounds amazing!
GummyTumor A bit late but TGI Fridays does a really nice starter like what I described.
lovvveee this series! great recipes! looking a lot more cheffy now without those sprigs of mint. brilliant! can't wait for the next ep!
Barry nailed it calling them "winner-winner-chicken-dinner". If I have to decide between those three, I have to choose the first one. Incredibly fast and easy!
YES I love this new series!!! All four of the boys in one video. Brilliant. x
I hereby promise to try and cook each of these, because this was epic. Awesome new series!
pomegranates are quite expensive where I live so I replace them with redcurrants! lot cheaper, similar colour, works just as well :)
I really liked these new series, well done guys!
I think this is a really good series, gives you a different kind of inspiration, as well as good recipes. I'd love to see this, not just with different kinds of meat, but also vegetables and other kinds of ingredients, not just the trivial ones.
Next week... A veg! :)

There is a recipe online for it www.wikihow.com/Make-Ras-El-Hanout-Spice-Blend
also moroccanfood.about.com/od/maindishes/r/ras_el_hanout_recipe.htm
Thank you so much!!!!! It really means a lot :)
Love the new series and I'm glad you cooked chicken I am torn between 1 and 3 as I like a bit of spice to my food
That was a lot to happen in a short time. I think I need a moment before I re-watch it to choose a favorite! It's almost like sorted on speed!
All three of them !!! You guys inspire me to try and cook different meals for my family thank you :)
Gentlemen nice set of 3 outstanding recipes for chicken. now you asked the question which is the best it's a hard one to answer. To give the correct answer would have to taste each one. NEW 3 set challange!
3 of the best sandwiches!

I love the way Ben says "petit pois" ! So cute !
YOU UNLOCKED THE THREE THINGS SERIES!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Really liking this new series guys! Definitely want to try the Moroccan dish. Also mike, I give your shirt a big thumbs up.
ive been watching sorted food for an hour now in the middle of the night and want eggs for some reason
Thanks guys I made the chicken meal with the lemons in the pan and it was amazing! I normally hate cooking so thanks!
This is the best channel on youtube
As always, great video! I was wondering, how can I substitute ras el hanout paste? Should I just mix together some of my favourite spices with a little oil or water, or is there another way to do it? My local supermarket has a terrible spice selection!
really awesome series, can't wait to see more with beef, pork, fish, etc!
Love when all of you come together!!!
OMG it's so hard to choose between the three dishes. But I do have a question for Ben, what was the spice paste you used for Barry's morrocan dish? And where would I be able to find it? Thanks and Cheers fellas
This is such a good series
I literally want to eat all 3 of them right now...
do you mean the chicken or the guys? :P *badum tss*
LiTTleGAmEFreAK1 The chicken of course xD
LiTTleGAmEFreAK1 besides, there's "four" of them...! xb
It's nice to see all of you guys together! Those dishes look awesome, by the way :)
3 recipes in one video! Heaven! :) This kinda reminds of your series "At the table" for Tastemade (which I loved).
I can't get enough of you guys! Really. Awesome again!
Two great dishes to try are Butter chicken and korean ginseng korean soup!
I am korean so i like spices and garlic alot so please put them in if you decide to do this!!!
All 3 look amazing!, will definitely be trying these!
Love the new series, boys! These all sound yummy.
I love the idea of series, and the recepies look awesome:) congrats!
Would fish sauce or hoisin sauce for the kababs' marinade do well? I mean, for a different flavor mash up than the go to teriyaki, akin to a Thai flavor and use freshly squeeze of lime to brighten up the overall dish?
Love the format. A little bit more short geeky explanations when applicable (such as the butter temp and marinating for tenderness) would be awesome :3
i need the lemon and sage in my belly right now , omg it looks so good
This might sound like a really silly question...but does it matter if you don't have a griddle or bbq or anything like that for the morrocan one. Can you just whack it in a frying pan?
all these look delicious! can't wait to try!
They all look epic! Definately trying them soon. And I love that Mr Burns impression :D Thanks guys x
I make the lemon and sage chicken almost 2 times a week now! So tasty! :)
Best Food channel ever!!
That chicken couscous looked delicious, a quicker version of the Eyecandy you did awhile back, which was also delicious :D However, is there any kind of substitute for the paste? When I made the Eyecandy couscous I seasoned tomato paste with oil and a number of herbs and spices for good effect.
Tomato paste sounds good in the couscous... The caramelised lemon in this one is well worth a try!
I've been looking at making the teriyaki chicken for a while now, but I do have one question. Since I don't have any metal (or wooden) skewers would I have to increase the cooking time since the skewer won't be cooking the chicken from the inside? If anyone can answer this question that be awesome!!!
For the moroccan chicken, you used a spice paste. What can you use instead and/or what were the spices in he blend?
For the roast chicken can you use salt free or low fat butter, and if yes how much do you use?
Ben needs to open up a restaurant! :)
I'm curious if they're still trying to open a pub, that was part of the pitch for their club when it started.
So, I've been given some Ras el Hanout by my friendly Moroccan neighbour... Except it's in powder form. How do I turn it into a paste?
Btw, the smell is amazing!
Just mix it with a little oil and you should be good to go!
I like to pet my chicken and feed him ice cream
i like to pet mike and feed him ice cream :D
RockingVeganCupcake #commentoftheweek
Aww, thanks for that compliment!
you are a great person ixbooks
"Feed him ice cream" a male chicken... intresting
I assumed the ingredients were the same but after reading them barely any of the ingredients were common. These were different brands as well so any help would be great!
A series with all 4 of you guys
I like that one ^^
I think I'm drooling..... I can't wait to try them!!
I'm making the sage and lemon chicken tonight can't wait !
Looks very yummy....gonna try those recipes!! Thanks
These all look sooooo good! Definitely gonna make these once my finals are over.
just started watching these... and subscribed since it was free. but have they made any food thats swedish inspired? would be fun to see! (probably gonna look around and see if i can find one already on the channel).
absolutely loving the new series :)
Mike's face when he says, "wow. He's changed." Is the best thing about this video.
One of the most EPIC videos ever! Really awesome!
Loving this series already!
