    Well done Jamie, great to watch, and good to listen to your conversation whilst fishing. Carp fishing can be so frustrating, and not all about piling bait in. Different tactics for different occasions, really liked the way you approach the match , it bc can be a patient waiting game at times. Always watch your videos with Andy, very impressed. Keep it up 👍

    Great video lads, congratulations Jamie on coming third, it goes to show though that even the best anglers can sometimes have a bad start to their match

    Really enjoyed that Jamie, thank you for putting it out subscription free, I learnt a huge amount! Great to see you wearing a PI cap and thanking the sponsors at the end, not enough of that goes on in my opinion! Kudos mate!!
    PS I'm not a subscriber to the channel but I might well do now after seeing all that - cheers!

    Great to hear you describe your mistakes as well as your successes. I struggle with awkward light conditions so know exactly what you describe. Choosing hookbait and line to fish essential obviously. Pleased you replaced, I do it often as a confidence thing. Cheers Jaime 🍻

      Seems silly and I don't want to sound like I'm being pedantic but more line between pole tip and float, easier to keep the pole "out the way" so to speak.

    I’m hoping to get into match fishing this year, so quick question not that it will probably be a problem lol, but in all fishing matches are you only allowed to put 50lb in each net and if you go over do you loose them pounds, thanks all.

    • @shaunsimpson2115
      @shaunsimpson2115 Год назад

      Depends on venue .. most are 50/60 pound limits.. if you go over some places discard the whole net .. so if you put 66lbs in a net you lose 66lbs .. but best to always start with 2 nets and add more when you think your about 45ish lbs in them.. if you starting out use a click counter to help keep track 👍

    Always watchable videos, Jamie, but (Rich’s?) shadow was quite intrusive. Did he have no choice but to film from the sunward side?

    • @WinningWays
      @WinningWays  2 года назад +2

      Live matches are a case of making do with what you’ve got. If you know woodlands, those pegs are quite tight especially with both pools being fished.
      But if a shadow is the only complaint you have we’ve done alright 🤣
