Superb video - loads of great info explained and demonstrated - can't wait for Andy's now. Possibly some of the best banter and some classic side eyes from Andy as well.... "amateurs" :D
Nice one guys. I know you both love shalla fishing. You are both knockout and great fun and entertaining. Loved the rigs. I love slapping 3 maggies in a band. Love it
Thank you both for your great video’s. Learned so much and my fishing has improved so much. Have caught fish on my club lake when nobody else has. Great fun and info.
Very educational, those f1 are deffo going to school.... that naughty one that wouldn't glide should get detention. Nice vid again guys very informative. Going to trying that very soon.
Fished at Monkhall Saturday just gone, What a day it was didn’t stop raining all day haha but fishing was good ! Love the vids also lads 🎣 Tightlines ...
Glad to see you back lads a very good and interesting video just showing how funny fish will feed during a day's fishing and how to work out how to catch them . Also congratulations to Jamie on qualifying for yet another fishO final hope it's number four for you 👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have just learned so much from this session, thank you! I'm the worlds worst for not coming up from the deck and going shallower through the water column.
Hi, what colour maggots would you use this time of the year shallow, l’m at a venue this weekend which the ide are still feeding shallow., tight lines 🎣
Not really, there’s never been a better time for cheaper gear that’s decent quality. Yes if you go and buy all top of the range stuff, it’s going to be expensive, but shop around, look second hand and build your kit up as you go it can be done at a level most can afford.
Used to get a bat round the tab when i was a kid for fishing shallow, we would set up a matchstick with a couple of rubbers set a foot deep and no shot just the hook and catch clonking rudd and roach and the old boys would B**l*ck you for not fishing properly, fast forward 45 years and its a killer match winning method LOL
Watched your video great stuff lads, but didn't see the man to your right on the other bank catching as much as you did, plus I could see him wearing a face mask is that a policy of the fishery you we're fishing. Keep on fishing mates. 🎣🎣🎣🎣
You can certainly catch shallow on the waggler, we've done videos in the past on it. But obviously don't want to be sat slapping it, just regular casting/feeding rather than slapping. But generally save that for bigger venues rather than snake lakes.
When are you going to do my rudd challenge. Be nice to see some proper fishing. Even so best fishing pair on RUclips never miss one. Love you both and there nothing you can do about it. The rudd man
Nothing better than getting this notification... amazing lads 💙
Thank you
😂 absolute class lads, makes my week seeing two lads actually enjoying giving honest real advice.
Glad you enjoyed it

Proper legend. Sat today with a foot rig on and smashed 30 odd little babies but fat fish. And they were warm.

Again another fab video, the best video's on fishing onRUclips.
Love the vids guys but do you think match fishing has become to expensive for guys to get into??

2, but check out the rig video in the description box for full details of all the rigs used
Great video guys keep going
When will over shotted rigs or no float rigs will be covered please?
Watched your video great stuff lads, but didn't see the man to your right on the other bank catching as much as you did, plus I could see him wearing a face mask is that a policy of the fishery you we're fishing. Keep on fishing mates. 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Liked before I watched keep em coming boys oooosh
Fantastic guys love Ur videos 👍😎
Can you shallow fish like this with a waggler rod & setup or will the float hitting the water on the cast scare the fish off?
You can certainly catch shallow on the waggler, we've done videos in the past on it. But obviously don't want to be sat slapping it, just regular casting/feeding rather than slapping. But generally save that for bigger venues rather than snake lakes.
Thanks for the vids
So, is Jamie using a single top kit and a short N03?
would you rather use dead maggotts or live is there any difference do you think for on the bottom or shallow
Live for shallow 👍🏻
I really struggle putting on small shot but I'm ok with stotz and find myself using them when I should use shot, any advice or tips.
Get a pair of pliers, keep the line tight, locate the slot onto the line and keep it in place with one hand and pinch it on with the pliers.
@@WinningWays I struggle seeing the slot in the shot, I was wondering if u used any particular brand?
Ballabini, if that’s the case then worth investing in a magnifier, they sell them with a built in light for craft stuff I believe.
When are you going to do my rudd challenge. Be nice to see some proper fishing. Even so best fishing pair on RUclips never miss one. Love you both and there nothing you can do about it. The rudd man
How do you decide which colour maggots to use
How many Matrix seat boxes has Jamie got 🤣🤣🤣 that looks a bit different to the normal lime green one looks like an aqueous version
That's the same one hes had for ages, just had a new posh cushion.
Though he had the lime green one
do you guys never use a jigger ?? for shallow ??
Andy mentioned it's important to have a stiff top kit, but there was no mention why... what's the reasoning please?
Stiffer poles just mean you can react quicker to bites and ultimately hit more
Great vid, when is Andys overshotting vid out?
Should be on next week 👍🏻
Never fished for f1s there are none in my area. Very interesting.
Wat is best way to get fish in my peg is it heavy feeding please reply
Very rare that heavy feeding is the answer, little and often is normally the one. Let the fish tell you where they want to be.
The ide are getting big here now
Why can’t you just Have one top kit and move the float up and down? 🧐
Need to keep that lash as short as possible or you’ll miss loads of bites.
@@WinningWays Is the lash the line between the end of your pole and your float?
Andy take that jab back
nice
Can I take over from Andy, I know an awful lot less than he does😂
