I have operated with illizarov technique in 2014 and also,with the railrod technique in 2016.One of the best solutions for increasing height surgery.I am in medical and so I will prefer that if a person wants to increase an height then,it is a best options for it.The pain is there but as we know,pain is a gain.

Здравствуйте уважаемые врачи,творящие чудо! Мне сейчас 64 года. Десять лет назад сделали операцию по удлинению левой ноги,она была короче правой на 4,6см. Речь шла об операции по методу Елизарова,а сделали посвоему,абсолютно не изученному методу! В общем я стала подопытным кроликом. Поставили фиксатёр,который я регулировала постепенно сама. И всё бы ничего,терпела но делала,но когда ставили фиксатёр, просверлили весь голеностопный сустав вдоль и поперёк! Удлинения я выдержала, но не до конца,только 3,7см,потому что потеряла надежду,что смогу ли вообще ходить с такой стопой, она была обездвижена,как будто гвоздями забили! Вот теперь за эти 10 лет научилась кое-как ходить,разработав на 30градусов стопу. В общем была одна проблема, а получила кучу! Обидно! Вот такие чудеса творят врачи в Германии! Можно ли что-то изменить или с этими болями и хромотой придётся жить!? Спасибо ,что выслушали,а то и поделиться не с кем,муж сразу сбежал! А так хотелось хоть раз в жизни одеть красивую юбочку и красивые туфельки!!! Не судьба! Всем желаю здоровья!

My height is only 5.4 inches. I want to be long till 5.8 inches. So I have decided to take it. How much bad effects it has and after sergery it will the cause of pain?
There is pain, swelling and problems with moving the operated limb in weeks to come after surgery, also, I think it is advised not to engage in sports or anything simillar until they remove all the implants, wich you can see can be quiet a while. Overall, there are rarely long lasting side effects if the procedure is done right. Godspeed man I know what it is to be short.

i assume because your nerves have to get used to the strecthing millimeter by millimeter, stretching a few inches immediately would destroy it and you would not feel your leg properly and couldnt control it
