5'7.5 here, one day i aim to hit 6 foot with this surgery. hopefully by the time I can afford it, the procedure will get even cheaper and less-invasive. hell, it's pretty non-invasive and safe even today.

We never know what people struggle with. If there was a surgery to make me significantly handsome, I’ll certainly save towards it. I’m soo fucking tired of struggling to attract women. Military huh? I was in the Marine Corps and there is a few guys from my unit that are double and triple amputees from getting blown up in Afghanistan. There isn't much left for them to grow. I think that this dude is weird and... no I don't think the VA should offer this. He pay with his own insurance, or out of pocket or whatever. Clearly you aren't paying attention! They do put internal! However you have to extent external. Think of it like braces. They constantly need to be adjusted. Plus the external gets removed eventually when the goal is met.
I'm 5'6 my parents have average heights my mother is 5'6 and my father is 5'11, my older and younger brother are both taller than me. I wish i was taller cause my parents are not short but, i would never do this due to long term consequences, these people will be on wheelchair as they get older really sad. We should learn to love ourselves. The differences between us is what makes us especial. Bro I’m extremely active and in shape (28y/o) and I can tell you after high school MOST PEOPLE never run or jump again in their LIFE and by most I mean 85-90% end up unhealthy/fat so that’s not an issue. Nah, I don’t think so. Besides, it’s not like everyone is an elite athlete or something. With the proper specialist, treatment and physical therapy, you can go back to normal after 6 month or a bit more. Stop spreading misinformation.
Yes it is painful. There are three phases to the pain: 1. post-surgery pain 2. stretching pain 3. Nerve pain. However, LLT provides daily PT, and meds to manage the pain.

People usually have normal sized torsos and they lose their height in their legs, in this guys case its basically a 1:1 as he already had a wingspan longer than his height, this is cope he looks fine and he's one of the more proportionate examples

I think it was a bit extreme for him to add 7+ inches to his height. I’m 5’5.5” now and I don’t need to be tall exactly, just a little taller. I’d be happy with 3.5 inches of extra height. That being said, I’m very jealous and happy for this guy for having the courage and resources to go through this procedure. If I were a bit younger I would seriously consider doing this for myself. But who knows, maybe I still will 🤔
You should take into consideration that lengthening limbs will increase risk of cardiovascular diseases because it requires your heart to work more to push blood for longer distance
He didn't add enough. if you're going through all that trouble and pain, might as well get to 180cm as that's ideal globally (I did male modelling in the past and the minimum was 180, any lower than that and you're outright rejected). Any shorter and it's still not very ideal. At 174cm you're still going to be the short one amongst others in the western world. Once I got a shock when I told a woman that I liked a certain actor as he was amazing at his craft, but she replied with "uh... I don't know.. he's kind of short" he was 174cm. Other women in the group also echoed this sentiment, and said they generally prefer guys/actors at 180cm.
i believe he can, but of course he lost a bunch of muscle mass because he didn't and couldn't exercise them yet + of course the muscle was stretched. I also think you need to do this surgery before 30yo for a close to 100% recovery, especially for that much height gain (10cm+ / 4inches+)
yes theres actually a youtuber who got this surgery many years ago and has big legs now because he goes to the gym often. his legs look skinny because he hasn't been walking much for many months.

I'm 5'6 my parents have average heights my mother is 5'6 and my father is 5'11, my older and younger brother are both taller than me. I wish i was taller cause my parents are not short but, i would never do this due to long term consequences, these people will be on wheelchair as they get older really sad. I think it was a bit extreme for him to add 7+ inches to his height. I’m 5’5.5” now and I don’t need to be tall exactly, just a little taller. I’d be happy with 3.5 inches of extra height. That being said, I’m very jealous and happy for this guy for having the courage and resources to go through this procedure. If I were a bit younger I would seriously consider doing this for myself. He didn't add enough. if you're going through all that trouble and pain, might as well get to 180cm as that's ideal globally (I did male modelling in the past and the minimum was 180, any lower than that and you're outright rejected). Any shorter and it's still not very ideal. At 174cm you're still going to be the short one amongst others in the western world. Once I got a shock when I told a woman that I liked a certain actor as he was amazing at his craft, but she replied with "uh... I don't know.. he's kind of short" he was 174cm. Other women in the group also echoed this sentiment, and said they generally prefer guys/actors at 180cm.

i believe he can, but of course he lost a bunch of muscle mass because he didn't and couldn't exercise them yet + of course the muscle was stretched. I also think you need to do this surgery before 30yo for a close to 100% recovery, especially for that much height gain (10cm+ / 4inches+)
