Mysterious *
Bruno is Mirabel's (the heroine) mysterious uncle, who disappeared a couple of years ago, leaving behind a mysterious prophecy regarding her and the family.
Now she tries to uncover what happens with her family, and her uncle is her lead, so she's trying to find out about him, but no one wants to really talk about him, neither her aunt Pepa (Bruno's sister) and uncle Felix at the beginning, nor her cousin Dolores (the one whispering to her), nor her cousin Camilo (a shapeshifter who tries to scare her by turning into Bruno in his part of the song), nor the townspeople, nor her sister Isabela (the princessy one floating down).
Dolores is whispering because she's got superhearing and suffers from information overload, everything's loud to her so she's whispering.
Go watch the movie; the music is great and was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the guy who wrote Hamilton, In the Heights, Moana, and more. The guy knows his stuff.
