Shit, in a crew cab, long box dually 4x4 it got 16 MPG HIGHWAY dry, which is absolutely horrid for a diesel.
I mean we have 4 7.3's, a 6.0 and a 6.7 and they all have their place. Of course as technology progresses they will always be pumping more power out of new motors but that doesn't mean the old ones won't work as well. Our 6.7 will get the same if not worse fuel mileage than the 7.3's now granted it's a f550 and has weight on it all the time and you can tell. It is a lot more comfortable and I'm sure safer. The 6.0 gets the best mpg's lol.

I own a 2017 platinum drw. Had the same truck in srw. First sticker was 78k and drw was about 80k. There are only a couple option I don’t have. Limited started in 18 but no truck with factory options are that much over 100 and definitely not a platinum.
Adam, congratulations on the dually! If y'all want even more range out of it, there are aftermarket options for a larger fuel tank. I believe they make a 65 gallon direct replacement for that truck.
Enthusiast2024 now mine isnt a dually but my 6.7 does 19mpg highway and 14mpg towing a 12k 5th wheel so id guess anywhere from 900-1200+miles depending if hes hauling or not
I wouldn’t mod it. Those trucks from the factory are made to work hard and be reliable. If you level it, it will sag when towing heavy. Just my opinion, but I have always loved the look of a stock truck.

I drive a 2016 Ford F-350 super duty one ton gated flatbed for work and it’s my favorite out of our work vehicles. Super nice trucks! The four wheel drive is fun as well. Have fun towing a house! I’m a chev guy but cmon, Fords fully loaded duallys are siiiiick. Great choice bro 👌💪🇺🇸🦅

I have a 2017 F350 Dually and wish I would have gotten the F450. The trucks are pretty much the same except for the front axle. The turning radius on the F450 is much better than the F350. The turning radius on the F350 Dually is terrible.
You should go to an ENT specialist, see if you cough is SINUS related. You might have a constant acute post nasal drip. This might be tickling the hair thingies in your thought that makes us cough. Only say this due to going thought major sinus issue surgery etc.

The dually is a beauty Adam, but, you’re now going to want to trade up to the F450 as it has wide track front wheels and will make a U turn in a lane less than the f350. Its a lot more maneuverable than the f350
U should've went with a F450 for the extremely better turning radius and also I think the 31k towing is only for trucks that have certain specs which I believe is a single cab long bed or som shit just saying cuz I know that salesman knows that and he just straight up lied lol probably not important to u at all but it is to certain people needing to tow heavier weight

BUYER BEWARE. I have a 2018 F-250 with only 11k miles and these trucks suffer from death wobble. Ford has no fix, and are working on it supposedly. They have had thousands upon thousands of problems and lawsuits. the front suspension components are faulty and failing and Ford has no real fix at this time. I just got mine back from the dealer with no fix. A steering dampener is on “national back order” since the ones Ford use now are defective. Google death wobble f250 and see for yourself. Sorry to complain I just want all to be warned.

Just known that if you plan on driving it, and your setup is over 26001 pounds you are required to have a CDL. Doesn’t have to be the full CDL with the air brakes, but gotta be the base level CDL

If you plan on having that 6.7 for a while I would “bulletproof” it and fix the ford problems that come with them. Head gaskets commonly go, turbos after about roughly 120k, and oil coolers sometimes clog up. Especially if you plan on deleting and Tuning it.
FALSE THE F-250 uses a different axle than the F-350 srw. the F-350 uses a M275 axle, the F-250 does not. Look at the rear hub covers on the F-250 and F-350 and you will see the F-350 caps are much bigger.

F350 has a bigger axle and diff little stiffer lev springs. You can pull a 2 car hauler gooseneck with the f250, without a problem.
IIRC the ring gears are bigger, but the tubes and carrier are the same.

MSengineering David you can register a semi as an “rv or motorhome” which means you wouldn’t need a cdl to drive it with a trailer.

BUYER BEWARE. I have a 2018 F-250 with only 11k miles and these trucks suffer from death wobble. Ford has no fix, and are working on it supposedly. They have had thousands upon thousands of problems and lawsuits. the front suspension components are faulty and failing and Ford has no real fix at this time. I just got mine back from the dealer with no fix. A steering dampener is on “national back order” since the ones Ford use now are defective. Google death wobble f250 and see for yourself. Sorry to complain I just want all to be warned.

Just known that if you plan on driving it, and your setup is over 26001 pounds you are required to have a CDL. Doesn’t have to be the full CDL with the air brakes, but gotta be the base level CDL

If you plan on having that 6.7 for a while I would “bulletproof” it and fix the ford problems that come with them. Head gaskets commonly go, turbos after about roughly 120k, and oil coolers sometimes clog up. Especially if you plan on deleting and Tuning it.
FALSE THE F-250 uses a different axle than the F-350 srw. the F-350 uses a M275 axle, the F-250 does not. Look at the rear hub covers on the F-250 and F-350 and you will see the F-350 caps are much bigger.
