I'm a Tennessee fan but I've always had love for auburn. Not sure why, maybe it's because we both hate Alabama but I've heard so many people say "auburn hasn't accomplished anything." "They'll go back to being mediocre." I don't understand that because auburn has a pretty good history and tradition in football. Not sure why they always get overlooked.
Because they're idiots. AU didn't have many good years in the 60's or 70's, but has been more successful in the last 30 years than just about any program in the SEC. Since 1983, AU is tied with Bammer in the Iron Bowl series. Since '83, AU is 2nd behind Florida in SEC titles (UF 8, AU 7). Since '83 AU has a NC and is playing for another this year. Only LSU, Bammer and Florida have done better in the NC department in that time period. (Bammer 3, UF 3, LSU 2). AU has more perfect seasons since '83 than anyone in the league ('93, 2004, 2010).
John Smith most people forget that Auburn actually had four top 10 finishes in the 70's. It is kind of overshadowed by the second half of the decade and Alabama's success,
2012nebula 2 clamied ncca championship 3 heisman winners and we could claim more national championship but dont but we dont get the respect because we share a state with the turd and i pull for the vols twice a year uga week and the game with the mighty turd
There's been nothing official yet, but you don't waste a scholarship on juco unless you really think he is good enough to be a instant player. So just my opinion, I think it will probably be Nick Marshall unless the QB's from last year make a huge improvement. Which Malzahn is known for making mediocre QB's into really good QB's. Remember Chris Todd? Auburn nearly and should have beaten a NC winning "bamuh" in 2009 with him. So who knows right now. Oh, and great video IGNITE. WAR EAGLE!

Bands like DEMON HUNTER-maybe songs like I am you, Follow the wolves, Tie this around your neck, Not I.-------or this band-THE SHOWDOWN and their song Blood in the gears. Just some suggestions. It seems like the team across the state has taken that name. Anyway, at least it looks like we're getting our aggressive D back this year. Can't wait to see some hard hits from Justin Garrett and Jonathon Mincy especially after what I saw at the spring game. If Mincy hits his teammate that hard, how hard will he hit the other team? People forget Birmingham News is biased toward Alabama. Auburn is one hell of a school and Is very impressive!
