The problem is that Shanahan doesn't use our back up RBs at all. Wears our CMC too much and puts him in jeopardy to getting injured
I got my eye on tennessee this year they made a nice amount of moves and seem to have an idea on how they want to play. Spears and pollard are explosive ridley out there too and i can never overlook the defense.
They have enough talent to challenge for the division. I like watching the AFC South games. All the teams in that division are scrappy.

I liked watching Josh Dobbs last season and I liked what I saw from him here, he's a bit of a playmaker. I feel good having him as our QB2 👍
He's serviceable. There are far worse backup QBs in the league. He doesn't always make the greatest choices but if Purdy goes down, he's capable and HAS both started and won games. Still needs a bit of time to learn the 49ers system, I'm sure.
He's a play maker and smart if brock goes down he's a 2 for 1 wins to keep the 49ers alive or 4 for 2

A reminder that Josh Dobbs was a Tennessee Titan for 2 games a couple seasons ago! Was a bit sad to see him go, at the time.
We have 3 better qb’s than Dobbs on our roster and all 3 played today.

Dobbs is a pretty good QB. The effort he brought kept this game closer than it might've been.
The Niners are definitely winning the ring this year. For starters no one in our division is any good and our team is way too stacked with depth.

For every idiot who argues that it's just the "system", you really get an appreciation for just how good Brock Purdy really is when you watch other QB's try to run Shanahan's offense. Allen and Dobbs weren't bad, but Purdy is on another level!

@@aceassn716 he was also coming off a massive leg injury that the Cowboys probably didn't let him heal fully. They have done that to many players. I think Pollard will be much better this year

Very curious to see how the Brandon Aiyuk situation plays out and if he’ll end up staying with the 49ers. This team is a Super Bowl team as currently constructed and it would be a huge loss if Aiyuk gets traded!

I think Dobbs has good potential as a back up, but needs to learn not to run back so far. Titans have potential as well thus far.

Dobbs first throw was high and the announcer said it was perfect throw. When a receiver has to leave their feet and the DB is behind them, you are asking to get your receiver summersaulted. So, no it was not a perfect throw.

Josh Dobbs was great overall the preseason VS TEN even though that we lost to the Titans in Nashville. He rushes outside the pocket very well and able to give plays down field too as anything. Dobbs was a baller backup than Brandon Allen who stunk at most times. But sure was a great game.🤞🏼💯❤️💛
