- asimplyfab.life/ During the LRCH Easter weekend at FurstenForest, Land Rover gave us all a brand new Range Rover to test drive. In Holland, they cost about €180K (with the BPM tax).

The Blue with the Umber brown interior with those rims and the Autobiography package is my perfect spec for the Rangie... Thank you for having a video on the exact Rangie i would get.. Dear Santa :)
Chic, capable, supremely comfortable and yet not vulgar ...
Nice too see a range where every range rover should be :)
Very nice video enjoy !
No bad headlight fuse it's the sync with the camera frequency (like monitors or TV set)
Stunning!!!
great test very good
When comments say this car isn’t meant for off-roading or can’t handle harder trails
Smart of them to make sure the Defender was close by at all times, for when the Tupperware mobile shows it's true colours ;)
This baby is a press demo vehicle and had already visited a couple of car mags for testing ... This was the first time the Land Rover Club Holland put it through its paces. Fab car!! ... despite any dents, or are they also called scars, like on the Defender?
i love the police style headlights!
Well Done !!!
I don't like the image of the new Range Rover either, but I have to admit that it surprises me in it's capability's. It's more capable off-road than you might expect. I would be scared to scratch the paint though, driving off road in an almost Rolls Royce-priced car.
SUper tare masina
Can't we skip that terrible music? I prefer the noise of that stunning and striking V8-engine
No i think the lights are made to flash like that, just a extra styling to it.
Followed by the DEFENDER Camera and Recovery/Backup vehicle.........
That's good you know....It's very good to have a brother that can help you in off-road :)
Cheers
Какие ровные дороги, нам бы в Россию такие
title of the music you used please.
Dream Car ;)
What is going on with those headlights?
Hi there, I really enjoyed your video, I am putting together an off road compilation of the L405, and wondered if you would like to be included?
Hi, glad you like it -- this was sometime during the launch). Happy for you to use it - if you can credit our channel somewhere: ruclips.net/user/ASimplyFabLife
Cheers!
@@ASimplyFabLife Thank you, I will be sure to credit your channel as the source of the footage.
@@amateurtorque6709 Cheers, thank you. Send a link when you're done - would love to see it
RR Classic at end of video looks better and is waay more practical, useable and reliable
Tod Lindley I agree. But it was nice to see such an expensive bit of kit (cost more than our house) doing some soft offroading
+Igor K Yes - just released in Europe at time of video, so Land Rover lent the club a top-spec version and said: go play...
It's just an effect caused by the camera due to the LEDs.
Front bumper got smacked at the bottom on its first light off-road? Doesn't look good..
why do the lights flash??
Guido off-road Because they are LED. They don't dim like normal bulbs so to make them appear dim to human eyes, they use a flashing technique. Humans don't perceive it but our cameras do.
No it's because of the camera. The rate of capture of the camera is superior to the human eye therefore we get to see when the led lights flicker which you wouldn't normally see with the naked eye.
pass me the audio of the song name?
Must have a bad headlight fuse.
RIP 20" rim.
+aabidam It's 21"
Dissapointing how the driver is messing himself when dropping into that bomb hole, a classic wouldn't have sneezed at it and be gone before that contraption has assessed the Terrain
Nothing my Slade cant do.
Wheels looks to small. Also the nose is hughe. what if you have to go down a steep hill and then straight flat at the bottom. Your gonna run the nose into the ground.
It won't, the cars is higher than it looks though
The car*
The wheels are 21" rims, and it has night adjustable suspension
+Dan Cooper2001 Having big rims off road is a bad thing.
+philip s (Dishano) can you explain to me why?
Music sound rubbish
Yeah, I know, sorry!
These were the early days of free youtube sound!
Pointless Concept, How can you put that to work at 80+K,
Yarr !! Tupperware lol, theyre just Ornaments nowadays, no good for the practical guy, a pretend Range Rover i'm very very sad to say
HAHA you call this off-roading? You can do that in a Fiat Panda with front wheel drive. Rangies are cool but are now 4 wheel drive Bentleys on street tires. Take it in the real stuff over there. Its will not make it without proper off-road tires.
horrible driver
The most capable till you compare it to a jeep. Which I can never find any real comparisons of the two. Ppl who buy these are not going to take them off road. Jus too expensive. A real offroader who doesn't have sponsors isn't going to take an 90 plus thousand dollar vehicle to rock crawl or mud bog. Don't know about the the new ones but reliability has been a big issue for these rigs. Tip; save a ton of cash and buy a grand Cherokee summit. Or an American Expedition Vehicle. Just as capable and will run past 100k miles. LOL
thats not the point! the point is not that it is a offroad car! it is a road car that happens to be very good offroad! And how comftrebel is a Grand Cherokee summit! PS! not very good english!
A range Rover isn't a car by any means. You sound just like the rest of the range Rover fanboys.....DILLUSIONAL
turshin with the same logic you sound like a Jeep fanboy. yeah the grand cherokee is cheaper, but so is its interior as well as its onroad manner. is it better offroad? don't really know, maybe yes maybe not. its not like most jeep owners go offroad with their grand cherokees either. the range rover is meant for people who don't want to buy an S-Class , need a bigger boot or/and go skiing or to their cabin. it is not being sold to hardcore offroaders. seeing though you are comparing a RR to American Expedition Vehicles makes it absolutely clear how biased you are and that you have absolutely no idea about cars.
turshin no reason to to insult me dude just because you can't make your point. you were talking about off roading not just price. Grand cherokee's are great cars. BUT not even in the same size category as the RR. and all these fancy materials, powerful engines, sophisticated electronics and hi-fi's in the RR cost money - thats why its more expensive. For the people who want these levels of luxury there is no other car which can match that.
and by the way the 2012 grand cherokee is one of the few (maybe the only one) SUV's which almost rolled over while doing the "moose test" - just search youtube for the video. (/watch?v=zaYFLb8WMGM)
turshin Jeep is capable till you compare it to the G wagon. The only car more capable than a G wagon is the Unimog, another Benz.
