What about verse 2/201. I think the economic purpose is the same in the two. However main differences are: 1. Socialism has a dogmatic approach while as in Islam Allah has reserved the right of severe punishment to Himself for those who are holding surplus. 2. Ownership belongs to Allah. So it is He who has the right to command his servants to spend the surplus towards the poor. Socialists who don't believe in God have no such moral stand to command people but instead, they become capitalist once they gain power.

What about verse 2/201. I think the economic purpose is the same in the two. However main differences are:
1. Socialism has a dogmatic approach while as in Islam Allah has reserved the right of severe punishment to Himself for those who are holding surplus.
2. Ownership belongs to Allah. So it is He who has the right to command his servants to spend the surplus towards the poor. Socialists who don't believe in God have no such moral stand to command people but instead, they become capitalist once they gain power.
