I'd happen to look ridiculously cool with my Xperia Z Ultra. People are so amazed to see a phone this big but so thin. Not only that but the screen is beautiful and design. I'd went from Osaka to Madison, WI to Chicago to New York to NJ to Las Vegas and the number of people wanted to play with my model C6833 (Xperia Z Ultra).
Hi Michael. Great video. I have a suggestion. How about comparing the Z1 to a nexus 7? Or even a One max to a ipad mini. I'm assuming that the tablets should win on tablet comparisons but by how much...Makes for an interesting video.

Wow so Sony is on screen parity with HTC. Why this is not also the case with the Z1 flagship i'll never know, but they better fix it by the time the Z2 is out.
Z Ultra any day of the week. i'm really impressed with its screen in this video! because the one max got a great screen and the Z Ultra looks as good, if not better. Z Ultra scccessor is maybe mine if they goo for all around premium phone with no compromoise in hardware as with the note 3. go sony!
I had the one max. I was satisfied with it. A good phone. Very long lasting Akku. Good display. When it was broken after 3 years it sold the broken one max to a guy in spain. he recycled the panel into another one max with a broken panel. The next thing i will buy is a Z Ultra. They are to be bought for under 100 € at ebay.

I have Xperia z ultra and i love it verry much i choose it.over the htc one max. But i have only one problem on the ultra, the batterylife sucks. Its verry verry bad. But overall amazing phone. Im gonna buy htc one max soon and im gonna use it for daily use
i love the look of both but the ultra wins out this time. i love htcs boomsound speakers. i hate how vide the ultra looks though. i would probably go with the one max because i hate the look of sonys timescape ui. it looks abit cluttered to me and the camera on the one max looked better to me in most shots
Personally I think the One's sound performance and looks (minus the horrendous looking fingerprint scanner) outweigh the benefits of the z ultra. Plus, I HATE the on screen buttons. They just look so... Bad.

I prefer the camera of the HTC One to the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
I would like to get the editor expand more on thermal throttling. Some smartphones namely Samsungs S4 suffer from this issue quite a bit.

The one max back cover was not holding after some time. I closed it with a tape. Still i think of the one max as a good phone.
