I remember the simpler life , the joy to live every single day, friends , the prospect of a bright future in front of me . This song takes me back . At least for a while my soul feels better . I am so shocked this song only went to number 73 when EVERYONE was blasting this back in 1991! This song is bittersweet. I love it because it’s an awesome song, but it also makes me miss family members who are no longer here.
Remember there have been a lot of dance club songs back then that never even charted on the Hot 100 like Deep in My Heart by Clubhouse in 1991. That one made it to number 1 on the dance charts.
