I would like to announce that I have locked in my first junk removal job for Thursday Superior Hauling and junk removal Lubbock Texas I have been inspired by y’all to take the leap
Way to go. Moisture get glass lights. Plastic ones turn from the sun light.
Awesome good luck to you
You just filled in the scratches, as soon as the WD40 evaporates or is washed off, you're back to fogged. As long as all you care about is selling the vehicle, then you're all set. (Speaking from personal experience). The proper way to do this is to use a polishing compound, there are plenty of companies that sell "headlight polishing kits".
ALSO, if you have some paint scrapes on your car, hit them with some WD40 and a rag, and the majority of the scrapes will get cleared, as long as the clearcoat isn't fully penetrated.

i was going to say the same thing, any oil would of done that, veg oil from the kitchen, you need to buff out wear if you want it to stay gone. used car salesman trick, oh and dont forget the banana in the tail pipe trick...
Dang!! I'm shocked and amazed how good that worked!
how long is it gonna stay clear?Thats the majic question.
Cut and polish works well. I used to with for a place where we stand t he e lens with fine wet and dry sand paper and then buff them with cut and polish and it they come up like new
It’s caused by moisture baked on by the sun and it builds up and I have used WD40 and it worked but here in wast Texas it attracts dirt

Do you guys have any tips for how i should price my junk removal? Because we have to sort everything and pay for everything different prices for example,
A tier wood (standard wood)(€35 per ton)
B tier wood (wood with paint) (105 per ton)
C tier wood (wood with oil or imprented woods) (€277 per ton)
This is for everything. This also means we have to spend alot more time at the landfill to dump everything
It's plastic and sun ruins it. That's why it gets foggy. Proper way and long term way restore it would have been calling professional detailer. Cheaper option would have been doing it by yourself with some type of headlight restoration kit ( like from Sylvania)
Restoring with DW40 is super short term thing ... like what scammer dealership would do lol 😂 and when it rains you will find out what happened
Off bug spray works better with DEET
The deet will burn them
How much Matt?!
Awww, why are you selling the pickup? I'm never selling my Chevy!
We are going to need a tax write off so we are getting a new one
It'll be foggy again in a week
Yep
Really? Least didn't have to clean the inside of the headlights!! #strewth......utter waste of time as pointless & hasn't solved the problem, just masked it for the next owner!!
