I want to install it on top of a shipping container roof. However, I am thinking of putting a thin layer of wood between the torchon and container roof. Will this help to insulate from heat better than without the wood) and insulate against potential water leaks? Is it easy to repair if the container gets scraped during transportation? Thanks

many tanks for your video, ignore the negative comments, it gives one sufficient idea to undertake torch on roofing as a DIY. Much appreciated. do not be put off from posting your videos despite you know the fact there are always going to be somebody picking on your faults, like as if they were born roofers from day 1.

I think this is an informative video to show clients what's involved in there new flat roof being laid, good on yous and its ranking high on RUclips so who cares what the haters think. In my opinion that roof will last a good 20 year and the client will be happy with that.

Both plys should be ran parallel to each other....not perpendicular. You didn't flash the walls separately. You're walking on the roll while torching it rather than the preferred method of caning and you're burning about 4" and kicking it out 8" only worrying about the bleed out and not making sure you have total adhesion. Other than that....not bad.
