Should not crossbond, and no roll bar visible
I love watching a good crafts man at work
It’s easy when you know how !
I have the same profession, but in which country is this?
Bravo
Best place to see proper technique on this type material is some of the manufacturers websites.
Burn and rolling to fast ..to fast with torch slow down half them rolls arnt good
You dont crossbond felt , cowboy
Eres una riata pa torchar 👌💯
Nice work skinny
Your getting the beads good maybe over bleeding tho and your not even rolling it. Maybe over heating?
Nice work Bro, Keep the Euro's flowwin!
How is a roll started? All videos on youtube show roofers with a roll already started :(
U no watcur doing but wearing gloves ant gona help u
Did you do that job by your lonesome? Great job man.
Poor
Why not a pre-welted drips

I am in the process of building a 10'x8' shed. I have an 11mm OSB pitched roof in Dublin that I'm looking to finish in Torched felt. Can I assume I need an underlay and the felt cap? where would you recommend I purchase them...I have seen a lot of SHIT caps (non-torched) around and refuse to put that muck on my roof.
You need underlay but you can't torch the first layer needs to be nailed down
Shite
Another HACK job!! This guy does so many things wrong! He has a little bit of skill but lacks proper install technique/knowledge!
What would you do different
@@Brandon-no3vc 1st off . . You never walk on your just torched sheet. He’s on the wrong side of the role and should be using a cane to pull the roll not push from behind! ( a BIG no no!) He’s in tennis shoes! No red seal journeyman would torch without proper safety gear! No sleeves mean no hair on arms! He didn’t degranulate at his perimeter flashing . . . a huge no no in spec work!! Not putting enough heat on 3/4 of the roll though he does do a good job on his field seems. Like I said, this guy has some skill but needs to train under a real red seal journeyman to finish his training!!
@@martinjvillasenor773 what happens when you walk on it ? I see alot of ppl doing that even the ones who pull it with cane infront of roll once they get to the end the stand on it so they aren't walking backwards. Do you use a bar in the rolls for the seams or do you have someone rolling for you or do you roll yourself or do you just stand on it or what do you do
@@Brandon-no3vc when you walk on a just torched roll, the modified asphalt in that roll gets displaced from the pressure of someone’s body weight. Almost all manufacturers recommend you pull the roll, not push. Just because a lot of people here on utube do it improperly doe make it right! If you install any manufacturer inspected work, they will insist u don’t walk on freshly installed sheets until they have cooled off . . . depending on ambient temperatures of the day but usually around 5 to 10 minutes
@@Brandon-no3vc as u install a sheet of modified material, from experience you learn to position yourself from having to walk on your just torched material. As you approach a roof edge, you start a different roll in the direction away from the perimeter so you eliminate some fall potential. If u are working at a perimeter, you need a fall protection system to keep the installers safe.
Wrong application....
Better then most.the horrible.messes I've seen coming out of Europe
Das ist amater katastrofa das ist kein profi ok
Nice work man
I hear up all my field first , then come back to my laps and use my trowel to step them down with consistent bleedout on all my laps. Haven't had any leaks from improper torching yet .
I need service
TPO is the best Everything else sucks
Good job
very nice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but,,,,,,first layer and second should be same direction ???!!!
Do you cross bond or not
شكراااا معلام👍👍
Hey nice jobs
I do this job in ksa 35 eyers
Good job
So wrong where the welts
people are mad lol how do you get mad at this they must have leaks
Life's a bitch.
Not to mention scorched it to death
Mate that is wrong on so many levels , cross bonding, over heating , upstanding detail is wrong
What happens if you cross bond mate
Several issues occure with cross bonding , you cause a build up that will be 4 high on a 2 layer system it will stick out like a sore thumb, you also have lap on top of lap on both underlay and cap sheet that creates a potential weak spot all the way through in lots of places , also all laps should run to the gutter or low point to high point it should not run parallel it causes raises areas obstructing water flow to the gutter
not over heated,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
@@ralfnorenberg3130 mate iv been doing this professionally, insurance backed , technition checked contracts for over 20 years trust me its fucking overheated
Its not overheated at all
never cross bond
Yh strange the underlay is run correct then gone across it
can torch on be used on corrugated roof sheets..?
Install 1/2 inch ply to the sheet and you are good to go
Bon boulot. Mais s est interdit de croiser sa sous couche ! Il faut décaler l ardoise à demi
Where's your bleed at?
Does this give off fumes? Do windows need to be shut?
He's not burning properly otherwise it will be ruined with the man's foot marks
Ben Phipps no it donest
Bravo
Single drip edges just flopped over.niiiice.
Yh not good
wouldn't a detail torch be easier for you... well for me it is.. but if the field one works koodos
