YES I was there at the Lynne Auditorium in Massachusetts! I won tickets online, caught a flight and went to see Gene Simmons on his solo band / VAULT tour. This kid got on stage and KILLED it. Everyone in the audience was screaming for him to do more. He got the most applause of the night. He was SAVAGE! A blind guy going: "I wanna see your hands in the air"! He owned the night just like he owned Gene Simmons. This kid has talent!
This just freakin Rocks!! People put Gene down and say he's an ass well watch this!! At the end Gene has to wipe the tears from his eyes! I say he is a good dude and will always be one of my very first Rock Hero's and inspirations!!!!!

this kind've dispels the notion that kiss is just a gimmick band that is nothing without the makeup and bombs.. listen to the first three albums and compare it to other New York bands in the same scene at the same time i.e. the dolls; there was nobody else in the glam scene who looked or SOUNDED like them.. they may not have been the best players but they were way better than people give them credit for; Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley recorded some of the best bass lines and guitar solos in the history of rock.. this video proves that at the end of the day it's about the music. KISS is far more than a band and brand, for some it is a way of life.. far beyond being just a visual band to the point that a blind dude feels it.. Gene loved soul music and when this guy sings it you kinda get a glimpse of what Gene might have been hearing in his head or blasting on his stereo at the time.. killer voice from Brian and so much fun to see Gene actually having fun while playing music. Listen to the Catalog from 73 to 82 and it is obvious that Gene Simmons is one of the most under rated bass players in rock music.

It was at that moment when Gene became a sideman in his own band when I became a fan of Brian's. At least he didn't sing "Watchin' You" or "Goin' Blind." But when Gene handed him a single and told him it was a twenty, I had to draw the line.
