Just bought one in the same color with the executive package about 2 weeks ago about 10hrs of having the vehicle the check engine light and steering light popped up, long story short the guys at the dealer after diagnosis they tell me I need a new steering gear. Well just found out yesterday that the parts going to take about a month to get since the car is so new, very bummed out I just want it back already. Bmw is taking care of me with a loaner for the time being and hope we can get this resolved soon! Enjoyed the content, thanks for sharing there aren't that many videos on this car yet. I was actually going to make some content but didn't have it long enough.

6 cylinder or v8? I think BMW aren't durable engine for v8 long time had many issues in v8 .
It has not succeeded in making 8-cylinder machines for more than 20 years, and it suffers from problems.

You should try to do a 2024 cayenne, the cayenne and this are the two best handling suvs before it hits super car level

The dealership needs to sanitise that vehicle after you are done test driving it. The incessant sneezing is very disturbing 😢
6:00, "heated steering wheel" is an option that your car not has configured..and if it's configured that button is indeed in the center of the steering wheel as it always been
at 5:49 you can see the heated steering wheel button inside the climate control menu, Far left button. It is a standard feature on the X5. they changed the location on some cars with iDrive8, X5 included.
There is no normal drivers assistance. Once you have adaptive cruise, it does have the highway drivers assist plus. I guess you just couldn't figure it out,
I drove the 760i and was able to activate hands free. It popped up and said “click for assist plus”. Didnt work the same on this X5
@@POV_Driving once again, once you select the package, it automatically has it. Unless it probably wasn't activated in the settings for the x5. Check window sticker to see.
@@bradleyscarreviews well in the video you can see i activated it but it still prompted me to but my hands on the steering wheel. In an upcoming video i had the same issue with the x7 and went through the settings and it was all engaged.

A great suv for sure, i’ll take it over the x5m. Did you find the handling better than the ix 60 u test drove?
i would say it handled better in the corners. iX was faster but this has the better suspension

I am not sure. I heard they are going to be using the N63 engine.

it is hard. Every unit is sold before it lands at the dealership.
What did you think of the exhaust ? I’ve watched videos and it seems disappointing to me compared to old x5 m50’s

Your sneezing sets off anxiety with me. No covering your mouth or sneezing into shirt! Just sneezing all out. Spit particles going everywhere 😳. Then whoever test drive after you. Inhaling all that 😷. Thats why I guess dealerships. Doesn't want to do lease cars no more. Covid etc. Could've sprayed some Lysol. Just to be sanitary. The anxiety 😫

Is the steering a bit crocked from factory? I noticed you've been holding it a few degrees left of center
Something about BMW steering wheels cause my current '21 x4mc and even my previous one was a little off center to the right. Maybe, I'm not the only one who has this issue.

You say theres no road noise while the mic is picking up tons! Maybe you dont know what road noise is. Also i test drove this just the other day, the ride is very stiff and not as comfortable as you make it seem. Cant trust future videos if you arent honest and just give rosy perspectives without truth
I guess its about perspective. Very little road noise and suspension is soft compared to the other cars i have been driving.
