Im like you, that screen design had to grow on me as well and I really like how unique it is! Something is telling me that we will be seeing this SUV on a mountain trip 🤔
Yeah I'm liking the new BMW screens more and more! This was a dealer car, so no mountain trip. But we had the XM for a week. Here is the trip in that! ruclips.net/video/fxYcir1rNz8/видео.html
It’s definitely fun! Keep in mind it takes all day to film what we film. Wake up at 7 and work till 10pm. So lots of work goes into it and it’s everyday. But definitely fun doing what you love
Save the money and get the 40i. I tried pricing out the V8 and it was approaching $100k after taxes not to mention I don’t think they did any engine upgrades. Not to mention you won’t have to keep refilling the gas tank
Such a great video well done. With great camera work and info. Have this car on the way worried about the colour. But this look great. Ask the dealership to let you run-it-in and then driver again will be the only video out there Subscribed 👌
Glad you enjoyed the video! This color was awesome! I'd definitely buy this spec. And yeah it'll be cool to check one out on the used market with some miles!
How's average ride quality? My father is in the market for a new SUV, and he's been looking at a Cayenne, but I REALLY like this M60i. Assuming ride quality is cushy in comfort mode, I can possibly convince him to go for this instead.
I got a fully loaded 2024 x5 40i last june. I love it but i dont understand how the price came out to 88k after tax and the controls on the windows arent chrome even on the m60 they still have the plastic buttons?! Im very glad i leased it instead of buying
What controls on the windows? You must have got more of a base model. But even this one had plastic buttons. Some models have aluminum for certain controls though. Not sure what package that is.
Agree that's Definately correct. The X7M60i has been tested and was ment to be I think 4.5 or 4.7 and was tested in not ideal weather at 3.9 seconds 0-100km😮 I've read this engine was tested on 91RON at altitude. So our 98 Premium Fuel in it and power to you.
I havent been in the 2024 M Comp. However they usually are still very livable in comfort mode. Probably just a tad stiffer then this in comfort mode. But then the M will have much stiffer settings for the Sport mode. So I don't think it would be anything uncomfortable vs this
yeah, doesn't make sense. They always come with "exterior badge delete" or something like that, in the spec sheets. The rear badging still there though@@Digga_10
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I have one on order in black sapphire metallic opted with the Adaptive M suspension professional and Bowers & Wilkins speakers in addition to pretty much everything else. Can’t wait!
Would it make for a great daily driver? Like commuting to work 40 miles both ways everyday driver? Im guessing. You have to put it in eco mode. To save on gas being the M60i is a twin turbo V8.
Absolutely! I don't think anyone buying a V8 as a commuter car is worried about gas tho. The 50e or 40i would be better if you don't care about the V8 power and want better efficiency.
Big yes! One of the reasons why I went with this trim was because of how comfortable it is, and considering the performance and V8 engine, it’s pretty fuel efficient as it is. My perspective: I have a 12-year-old Range Rover that guzzles at 11mpg on premium, so this one at 14-17mpg city on a good day is not bad. The seats are so comfortable too that it makes it a pleasure to sit in traffic for over an hour or so.
Folks, Stay away from 2024 X5 model. Received mine on 6/2/23 and its back in the shop with 165 miles on 6/8/2023. Faulty Turbo gateway. More to follow in next few days
That’s interesting! I’m still planning to buy one! BMW is 2nd in reliability so you must have a fluke which every company will have. By that logic, we should stay away from every brand. Sorry that you are going through that but atleast it’s under warranty!
@@Rcheavyequipment I like the new design. Less things to get in the way of the center console. Looks cleaner to me then a big shift knob. I know some people aren’t a fan. But I feel like it makes the interior more useful
Sweet ride but as usual most buyers are fronting. All the 40-50 yr olds at my firm in old RAV4s or similar own their home and car(s) straight up while dudes always in the shiny new MB or Beemers finance them and make minimum mortgage payments with little to no retirement. Still, sweet new look but at 100k, I'll wait a few more years to pay off the house early.
That would be an assumption on your end. You have no idea what payments people are making on a car based on the house they have. A majority of BMW, mercedes or Lexus are leased, but a good bit are probably paid for in full. But just because you have an expensive car, doesn’t mean you don’t have other financial plans and obligations.
I challenge the content creator to test drive my X5 M60i which I bought a couple of months ago and I’m sure he’ll have a different opinion. People, don’t ever buy this car or any the X5 M models.
What is the point of paying so much for a gas vehicle??? It’s not a great hybrid!!! EVs are coming - I would rather wait and buy a good EV sUV… I’m not paying for gas!!!!
The refreshed X5 and X6 look much better. It seems like 2024 BMWs everywhere now. Can't wait to see those 2nd quarter sales numbers.
For sure! I've seen quite a few and the dealers has had plenty come through all ready! Great SUV to buy!

Hendrick doesn’t discount their vehicles one cent. I ordered my X5 from a dealer in Georgia and picking it up at the BMW performance center in SC.
They also don't do any dealer mark ups. Bought our X5 from them as a CPO an had a great experience.

Is 3.9 seconds correct for this? Seems way too low for the weight and how its not an x5m
It’s what BMW and other tests have shown. 3.9-4.5 was what I found. X5 M is only a tad quicker

On the highway I don’t see why not, two lanes you can.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Ahh ok. Well i dont live there so got no idea. I just know here you're not allowed to do it hence why I had to ask hehe
Technically the left lane is the passing lane. But if you're cruising in the right lane and a slow car is in the left lane. Nothing wrong with passing
