If the seller is selling multiple brake sets, Guarantee, somebody ended up with two passenger side calipers. And they have the same problem as you. You got lucky with the fitment of your rims. Mahalo for your video
@@kylecotton4024 I don’t have the new part number. It’s changed once or twice since I made the video. The current part number is discontinued. The hardware I used was new calipers, new rotors, new brake pads, new break pad brackets and new break pad retaining pins. The one thing I added were the washers. 4 total. Other than that everything stayed the same.
Do you think these calipers will fit on 2018 tahoe?
Yes they work on that
I would recommend stainless steel braided brake lines to replace the rubber brake lines for even better braking performance.

What
does 2014-2018 still need a spacer washer for those calipers?
Yes still needs the spacer. Remember each caliper gets two spacers/washers. One for each bolt. Subscribe for more!
Good luck on bleeding that caliper with the bleed screw on the bottom😂
Unfortunately, they are both driver side calipers. They run fine tho.
Do you have the part numbers for the pieces you used?
Came to this video from your Reddit post. Really interested in doing this on my truck.
Did you not have to replace the caliper brackets?

@@ArcFireX Thank you for clarifying. Very glad to have seen it in action from someone who did it.

The little star bit piece is called a torx.
Yes it needs a t15
What's the offset on your wheels
Idk what that’s is but they are oem 20s from a 2018
@@ArcFireX I think it's 31, I'm gonna do my avalanche some time this weekend and my offset is 24 so I think I might need spacers
You might need wheel spacers but those shouldn’t be too expensive. Just a thing spacer I’d guess
Did u need a washers to center the rotor
Yes two between each bolt
Nice 🤠
