I canada 2024 i just ordered the orange version of this one on sale for $69. The medium Luzon is a match to the ti-lite 4" and i like it, the medium i had no problem with the wave, I'll be definitely testing the large when it arrives. Appreciate your take on this blade
I own two. One with a grey handle, and one with a black handle. I've contacted Cold Steel, and the Grey Handled one was meant for over sea's sales. The grey handled one is a bit stiffer to open, but the Liner Lock is better then the one on my Black Handled version. But I love both of them. I carry the grey one every day I'm out. Stay Sharp.
Yeah, it waves off the flipper. I've tried, it works great, when I'm wearing my Wrangler Jeans. The two pins, are actually external stop pins. The whole knife is well made, and it works great.
I like mine quite a bit - great value and it is fun to manipulate. It does have a striking visual presence about it. Blood groove..! I don't care to use the proper "fuller" title because I like the incorrect term better..! I'm not a big liner-lock, flipper fan, but this thing is pretty fun to use.. There's other stuff I would prefer to deter an assailant, but this is a better choice than some.. For 40 bucks though, it's hard to beat.. All things considered, I would prefer a Large Luzon over a Ti-Lite, but I would prefer a XL Voyager over the "Loozen Large.." Thanks for another detailed and thought provoking video.
Ain't nothing blind about taking some personal responsibility for what happened between an inanimate object and your own self, Jack.. People used to do that a lot more often, back in the day. The "Darwin Award" is a colloquialism commonly used to point out the obvious "survival of the fittest," especially (lately) with folks making frivolous law suits. If the Luzon design was so horrifically dangerous, don't you think there'd be a line of people behind you with the same grievances..?! But nope.. There's just you, Jack.. Stay Frosty..
You kept pronouncing it “Lusin, Louzin, Lusen” No, it’s pronounced Luzón the O is stressed to make the au sound. Phonetically it sounds “Loo Z auhn” like how Sean sounds like Shawn.
