Thank you! I would love to see more detailed videos on each item. And more on how the macros work.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I have neglected my ham radio channel. I have freed up the controller from the yaesu repeater, so I have more opportunity to pull it offline and make these videos.

Just making sure there is no part 3 yet? Currently working on an X-Band repeater; learning the software is taking some time.

Hi Andrew! No part 3 yet. But I will be picking the material to go over soon, and will get the camera recording in about 2 weeks. Since we're moving into winter here in Fairbanks I'll be indoors and making videos more regularly. Stay tuned, and thank you for watching!

@@HamRadioRepeaters that's fair, get the outdoor stuff done while you can!

I fell sleep watching this. So I did'nt learn anything 🐔 I think I have to watch someone with a muffled voice. You have that smooth radio voice

Thanks! Hopefully I can refine my radio voice to use on RUclips, but also on the ham bands. Ha!

I eagerly await the programming video. I'm really struggling with understanding this manual. Being a bit dyslexic I am having trouble inputting numbers, where they go and how/what order to do them. This controller is not for the faint of heart...

I think we're on the same page. I got to a point where I understood the basics pretty well, and then did a set-it-and-forget-it scenario. So I will be re-learning some things while showing you. :)
It's difficult for me to keep all these numbers straight.
Let me know if you want to see something specific though.

@@HamRadioRepeaters Thank you! I don't really want it to do much. I want it to ID hourly during the day and have a net announcement once or twice a week. I'm not really needing remote base or anything more than it just IDs itself appropriately and schedule a net announcement and likely using just port 1 for quite a while. The manual has a lot of clutter in there...for those ambitious repeater owners!

@@chadlpnemt Ha! There are definitely some ambitious repeater owners out there. I'm not one yet, but maybe I'll get there.

Legos! Will you play the “confessions” track in your next video?

I don't know if the world is ready to hear the confessions, but I'll consider it. :)

@@HamRadioRepeaters I'm tempted to just ask you what you put in your macros for ID's...It would at least get it going. I've already filled out the fields in the ID tab, so cheating and asking what someone else put in for their ID macros seems the thing to do.
