lol the people who keep commenting that the new album is crap and that they should stop making new/different music are literally the definition of anklebiters
Once you hear the instrumental kick in and your just like damn I wish this song was longer. Quality is just too damn amazing. And the lyrics tho? They always having meaning whenever a song of their's is being played. Gotta love Paramore.
"You know anklebiters ate up your personality" This is actually really true for me. I've spent so long trying to conform to society, to fit into a group and be part of something, so much that I've seemed to forget my own self. This song helped me realise why I've always been so unhappy with myself. "Fall in love with yourself" However narcissistic it may seem, this song has been what I've needed from the start. Thank you so so so much Paramore, ily.
This song is actually really describing my self too. I recently got out of a toxic friendship, and it caused my self esteem to go down. I need to learn to love myself again. And also I have tried to fit into groups, and I just don't. I'm just a potato.
@@tiaraprameswari8499 anklebiters is a euphemism for "little children". On the surface, it sounds a bit mean, actually, once you know what anklebiters are.
I'm a new Paramore fan, but I've listened to all their albums, old and new and I love all of them... I guess I just appreciate all of Paramore's music because every song they make is amazingly composed and they always have a message behind them. I don't understand what's the fuss? I love the old and new Paramore. They'll experiment with new sounds, it's part of any music process. They're just maturing and I can't wait to see what's in store for them. #WritingTheFuture
I know right!! I'm a new Paramore fan too. Around may I started listening to them a lot and I fell in love with this band. I love all their songs and I've listened to all of their albums and every lyric is so profound and inspiring.
I actually prefer these new ones, they are way more mature. The old ones (first album) are just... Bad... Then it came Riot and Brand New Eyes, those were awesome, but this new album (Paramore) just blows my mind. paramore isnt pop their songs that were recognised in this album just happened to be pop genred. RECOGNITION FOR SELF TITLED ALBUM UNDERRATED SONGS PLEASE
Paramore is freaking awesome. I don't care if you hate that they've had drama, don't have all of the original members, or evolved they're style a little bit. They didn't pull a Taylor Swift and completely change genres. They still have really good music. "Good music is good no matter what kind of music it is." - Miles Davis. So please shut up and appreciate that it doesn't matter if Hayley sings rock, punk, pop, country, or freaking yodel, she's still an amazing artist and she can sing laying flat on her back which is freaking hard if you don't breath right, so that's a bonus. Paramore is supercalifragilisticexpialadocious. ;D
+Beth Does Stuff yeah I didn't mean it as an insult, I just used Taylor as an example because she started out country but now she's pop. I don't have beef about it like other people so I still like Taylor but I was just a little upset that people are mad that Paramore has songs on the pop charts. To me, genres don't matter, if it's good music and I like it, then I'll listen to it. :)
Beth Does Stuff hahaha ok I just wanted to make sure because sometimes my wording makes people misunderstand me or they take what I said in the wrong way. I just wanted to make sure it was clear that I actually like Taylor Swift and wasn't insulting her lol
This song just makes me hyper and happy and awake aswell as making me kinda re-evaluate my life. It's basically saying that we only need to love ourselves and we don't need to care what people think of us.
Oh my. This song literally goes by everything I tell my family and friends. You don't need people and who the hell cares what they think because in the end you're there for yourself.
Yeah, I tooootally love Paramore and I love this song, but can anyone explain me this videoclip? Does it have a meaning? If it does, I'm sorry but I don't get it lol
I think the "ankle biters" represent people that give you a hard time. So, this song is saying that you should be yourself, no matter what others say. I think it's interesting that a few of the "ankle biters" became their true self, and learned to love themselves. (1:37)
I think that since it's about being original it's just random creative drawings that puts in perspective that you should be yourself and put your thoughts out no matter what are they
FALL IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF BECAUSE SOMEDAY YOURE GONNA BE THE ONLY ONE YOUVE GOT. God I love paramore because they sound incredible AND their lyrics are incredible with beautiful messages. This band is underrated in my opinion and they deserve more acknowledgement! I'm never disappointed by paramore. They continue to make new and interesting records that are always solid.
You know, I'm sick and tired of all the complaints on Paramore now. JUST LIKE AVRIL. Everyone's saying that both Avril and Paramore have changed, but you know what? I bet majority of you all on here have changed. So please, I don't wanna see anymore complaints. If you're real fans you'll support Paramore and be their fan no matter what.
I said that isn't a single because it was not released as a single. Aint It Fun and Still Into You was released as world single. Daydreaming was released as UK single.
Actually 2 songs from THIS NEW ALBUM, are the biggest paramore hits on Billboard ans iTunes, Still into you and Ain't fun :) oh, and the album Paramore is their best selling album more than a year in the Billboard 200 and it's debut was teir first #1 :) this is their most successful album :)
This isn't much different from "Misery Business" or "Pressure." They've always done poppy stuff - "Pressure", "That's What You Get", "The Only Exception", "I Caught Myself" - but they always make time to rock out, too. Granted, the new album does that less, but "Now" and "Monster" are both fantastic. Still, I don't know if much will top "Ignorance", "Crushcrushcrush" and "Careful" for me. But, even then, I think their new album is still pretty excellent.
Yeah, I was talking to someone about Paramore and they said "I don't like their new music it's pop" people who say that haven't even listed to their new album, only ain't it fun and still into you (that's still NOT POP). Part II and fast in my car and now are definitely not pop. If anything it's more hardcore than before and just more electric. And even if they were pop why is that such a bad thing, their new music sounds good so genre doesn't even matter.
What do you actually expect a broken mirror to reflect? You know, anklebiters gave you *a false perception!* Why do I defend your ignorance? Why do I defend the state you're in? When you should just fall in love with yourself.
+RBanks1206 Agreed! The latest album does have a much more pop'ish sound, but they've always been kinda pop punk. It also has a lot of epic rock moments, and they kick as much ass as ever live, where they play their old songs too. That means they haven't changed that much. They haven't left their old material behind; they just wanted to make an album that was something new.
Daniela Serna less emo pacman, and more Philip Guston.... i have no idea how it happened...but it's crazy! if you don't know him, look him up. abstract expressionist painter from the 50's...style and design is like dead on inspiration.
I kinda miss how they were so Ignorance and Decode. I miss that kind of angst to their music, but I like how their new stuff makes me smile. I guess that's what counts sometimes.
ya thouse where the days...........but we r in the present now not in the past just keep lisaning to the new stuff tell everyone and u will be happy now the only song that still has that tipe of cool rock in it is now lisen to it please(im 9)
This song just sounds so Cikarang, remind me of hot humid cikarang back in summer 2006/2008, the fact that this was released and sung by an American band, is just AMAZING.
I love Paramore now, because now only is the song brilliant, it tells people to be theirselves.
oh my god, i love your music so much. i didn't know that you listen to paramore ♥️
oh my god chloe, i love you so much! good to know we both love paramore

[Verse 1]
Why do you care what people think?
Are you hooked up to their leash?
You know anklebiters
Ate up your personality
Try to remember how it felt
To just make up your own steps
And let anklebiters
Chew up, spit out someone else
Fall in love with yourself
[Chorus]
Because someday you’re gonna be the only one you’ve got
Someday you’re gonna be the only one you’ve got
Why you wanna please the world and leave yourself to drop dead?
Someday you’re gonna be the only one you’ve got
[Verse 2]
What do you actually expect
A broken mirror to reflect?
You know, anklebiters gave you a false perception
And why do I defend your ignorance?
Oh, why do I defend the state you're in?
You should fall in love with yourself
Oh, again
Fall in love with yourself
[Chorus]
Because someday you’re gonna be the only one you’ve got
Someday you’re gonna be the only one you’ve got
Why you wanna please the world and leave yourself to drop dead?
Someday you’re gonna be the only one you’ve got
[Outro]
Anklebiters! Anklebiters!
Someday you’re gonna be alone
Anklebiters! Anklebiters!

it's quite debatable but it's just really annoying when they are just plainly called a pop band but yes I agree with you

KatelynTheSpaceQueen 5 yeahh! Ikr!😂👏
It has a meaning and it got the best vibe
I think that since it's about being original it's just random creative drawings that puts in perspective that you should be yourself and put your thoughts out no matter what are they
“People who repeatedly attack your confidence and self-esteem are quite aware of your potential, even if you are not.” ― Wayne Gerard Trotman
I swear, this song just stands above everything else. *huge thumbs up*
FALL IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF BECAUSE SOMEDAY YOURE GONNA BE THE ONLY ONE YOUVE GOT.
God I love paramore because they sound incredible AND their lyrics are incredible with beautiful messages. This band is underrated in my opinion and they deserve more acknowledgement! I'm never disappointed by paramore. They continue to make new and interesting records that are always solid.
Not gonna lie, the beginning of this song hella sounds like the iCarly theme song...
+Guy Dude Exactly. lol
that's what I was thinking man
Omg YASS!
XD
So does fences 😱
The drums in this song are so friggin good
You know, I'm sick and tired of all the complaints on Paramore now. JUST LIKE AVRIL. Everyone's saying that both Avril and Paramore have changed, but you know what? I bet majority of you all on here have changed. So please, I don't wanna see anymore complaints.
If you're real fans you'll support Paramore and be their fan no matter what.
Power pop, alternative rock, new wave.
There is 200% that Paramore songs will cause Eargasm. Absolute rockin'!
Wish they'd released this as a single.
What the hell i've only just discovered this was a single yet alone that it had a video. Ugh why did the Paramore album flop so hard ? It's brilliant
I said that isn't a single because it was not released as a single. Aint It Fun and Still Into You was released as world single. Daydreaming was released as UK single.
*****
It did. in England, where it was released as a single. Ain't it Fun was released in England THIS Monday.
The opening line says it all, why do you car what people think.. I say it all the time.. How am i going to love you if i don't love me..
I actually love the video
You can't tell me that Paramore went completely pop
but good pop.
no, i think as of now they are more punk pop instead of punk rock
This isn't much different from "Misery Business" or "Pressure." They've always done poppy stuff - "Pressure", "That's What You Get", "The Only Exception", "I Caught Myself" - but they always make time to rock out, too. Granted, the new album does that less, but "Now" and "Monster" are both fantastic. Still, I don't know if much will top "Ignorance", "Crushcrushcrush" and "Careful" for me. But, even then, I think their new album is still pretty excellent.
This is punk rock honey ;)
Yeah, I was talking to someone about Paramore and they said "I don't like their new music it's pop" people who say that haven't even listed to their new album, only ain't it fun and still into you (that's still NOT POP). Part II and fast in my car and now are definitely not pop. If anything it's more hardcore than before and just more electric. And even if they were pop why is that such a bad thing, their new music sounds good so genre doesn't even matter.
no one is talking about the animation/graphics team on this video? this is so great.
i totally identify with this song ♥
This song always makes me feel better ^u^

*Paramore at their most punk.*
Wow! Esta canción es increíble! :D
Genial, genial, genial!! \o/
What do you actually expect a broken mirror to reflect? You know, anklebiters gave you *a false perception!* Why do I defend your ignorance? Why do I defend the state you're in? When you should just fall in love with yourself.
When i scrolled down to this comment it was exactly on this point!!!
Pearl Laljee No way! That's pretty odd. ;)
Pearl Laljee same here. Nice timing : )
same... WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?!?! XD
this is aesthetically pleasing
Jeremy's laugh kills me every time
I don't care what you guys say. They have NOT gone completely pop.
+RBanks1206 Agreed! The latest album does have a much more pop'ish sound, but they've always been kinda pop punk. It also has a lot of epic rock moments, and they kick as much ass as ever live, where they play their old songs too. That means they haven't changed that much. They haven't left their old material behind; they just wanted to make an album that was something new.
they are people that try to tear you down but you can't let them
Emo pacman.
XD
x'D
I LAUGHED TOO HARD AT THIS
Daniela Serna less emo pacman, and more Philip Guston....
i have no idea how it happened...but it's crazy! if you don't know him, look him up. abstract expressionist painter from the 50's...style and design is like dead on inspiration.
HAHAH
Love paramore!!! HAYLEY WILLIAMS
This is my favorite song in this album omg
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVS FROM SELF TITLED AND I ALWAYS FORGET IT HAS A VIDEO FFS
this is not pop, this is pop rock
Sounds like pop punk to me 🤷♂️
This song is actually so inspiring
The beginning of this song reminds me of Dance Dance
i like how some of the anklebiters turned into something else :)
I know Paramore for 5 years.
Still finding awesome songs!!!
This need's more views :3
All Paramore songs need more views. :3
I kinda miss how they were so Ignorance and Decode. I miss that kind of angst to their music, but I like how their new stuff makes me smile. I guess that's what counts sometimes.
I suggest you to listen to Part II and Future (:
ya thouse where the days...........but we r in the present now not in the past just keep lisaning to the new stuff tell everyone and u will be happy now the only song that still has that tipe of cool rock in it is now lisen to it please(im 9)

My best friend sent me this song :')
I sent to my best friends
This song just sounds so Cikarang, remind me of hot humid cikarang back in summer 2006/2008, the fact that this was released and sung by an American band, is just AMAZING.
Fall in love with yourself , because someday you're gonna be the only one you've got
Came here from osu~ who else? This song is actually bangers
