I went to a WCW house show in Harrisonburg, Virginia high school in the early 90’s. EVERY SINGLE BABY FACE walked past the modest crowd huddled by a barrier to the locker room. Except for Cactus Jack. I still have that signed picture to this day and it’s the only autograph I’ve ever needed.
Foley flashback is a great name for this. I appreciate the transparency and honesty. Instead of feeling tricked into watching an old episode I know exactly what I'm getting. No disappointment.
Mick is legitimately the nicest person I ever met at a wrestling convention to were if I knew how nice he was before watching him destroy his body in some of the most legendary hardcore wrestling matches ever I would have hesitated on cheering I have been watching both Mick Foley and Steve Austin since they both were in WCW watched both in ECW and enjoyed both in WWF/WWE
One thing I've learned from listening to certain wrestler's recollections: drink and drugs are even worse for your brain than repeated severe head trauma.
Kudos to Mick Foley and his family. Happy New year and stay safe and enjoy your special times with family. Those are the ones that really mean the most.
Thank you for calling Bobby Eaton an all time great. Hes a personal favorite of mine. The work he did with Dennis and later Stan (i think) remains unparalleled. There's many great tag teams through the generations but the midnight express has a uniqueness that i find hard to articulate
Does this cover how Austin pulled Foley out of Midcard hell? People overlook it, but that simple act started a chain reaction with would ultimately decide the Monday Night Wars.
Oh snap, the 4th Face Of Foley was about to make himself known. Good old Santa Foley, taking in milk and cookies and giving out Mandible Claws and DDT's. #HaveANiceChristmas
50:45 Top Priority Talent = Vince/Mr McMahon interviews you at his own house Middle Priority Talent = Mr McMahon interviews you at the office. Low Priority Talent = Mr McMahon asks one of his subordinates to Interview you. 1:11:00 Mick Foley, Mr Royal Rumble, Mr January. 1:26:00 "What's What with What?" 1:28:52 Steve Austin's Fire Within after being FIRED by Eric Bischoff in WCW.
Mick just gave me an idea for how Austin would fit into wreslemania when he said rock and Austin tag team. What if during the Rock and Roman match, when the bloodline is doing the mandatory run-in, Austin comes out to save the rock, which helps him get out of the match with a “win”. Maybe it ends with a DQ from interference when the ref comes to, but it would make the rock look like the winner while Roman retains the belt. Then a team up would make sense at Survivor series.
I don’t even watch wrestling anymore and grew up in this exact era obsessed with all of these characters. I haven’t even been remotely interested in a wrestling match for the longest time. If Stone Cold faces off against the Rock in the ring and they promo it I would pay whatever the fuck they want just to see it one more time. The nostalgia would be on another level.
I saw this video in my recommended at the side of another video and was like "dafuq? Foley is poo?" Then i realised it's POD and I didn't have to defend one of three people who are the reason i ever cared about the wrestling (the fall brawl 1993 promo)on the special episode about one of the others
So Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes were invited to Vince's house, yet Mick Foley has never ever been invited to his place? It's a good question, did Steve Austin get invited for his first meeting with Vince?
He did...on Steve's podcast with Bruce Prichard they talk about meeting there and Steve ate grilled chicken with mustard on it and for some reason that cracked Bruce up lol
Mick is a favorite of mine, I'm always a bit let down when a favorite entertainer brings their politics into their act I don't care about those things. Trying to get away from those matters watching wrestling-related relatedness. God bless you mick.praise Jesus ,stay well.
Why wouldn't somebody keep a podcast going if 1) they're making money at it? 2) they have things to talk about? 3) they're having fun doing it? 4) they don't have anything else going on? Any or all of these are valid reasons to NOT end a podcast. If it sucks, then yeah, but his doesn't/didn't, and neither do any that are being done by anyone who has been in the wrestling business for any appreciable length of time (Austin, Dutch, Cornette, etc all have had good podcasts, and there are others)
I don’t have a problem with the ones milking it. They’re the heroes of my youth. I want to hear their tales, and for them to enjoy a rewarding retirement. I’m not bitter or jealous of their accomplishments.

I could listen to Mick talk about pretty much anything and it'll still come off like a chat while fishing
Foley flashback is a great name for this. I appreciate the transparency and honesty. Instead of feeling tricked into watching an old episode I know exactly what I'm getting. No disappointment.
My favorite Royal Rumble was the 97 or 98, when he cameout as Cactus Jack, Dude Love, and Mankind. All 3 faces of Foley.
98
God bless 🙌 you, Mick Foley. You, sir, are a national treasure 💎

how on earth mick has such a good memory is beyond me. What a legend😂
One thing I've learned from listening to certain wrestler's recollections: drink and drugs are even worse for your brain than repeated severe head trauma.
And Mick did neither
The amount of ad’s on this video is ridiculous.
@@charlestabah9082 you get ads? 🤣🤡
One of my favorite WWE speakers and story teller ever
Kudos to Mick Foley and his family. Happy New year and stay safe and enjoy your special times with family. Those are the ones that really mean the most.
Thanks for coming out to ICW NHB and donating to SPOs memory Mick❤

Great job and great podcast Mick Foley and Conrad Thompson talk Stone Cold Steve Austin
Great show about the history of professional wrestling
in my opinion....the 2 GOATS
Does this cover how Austin pulled Foley out of Midcard hell? People overlook it, but that simple act started a chain reaction with would ultimately decide the Monday Night Wars.
World Class Championship Wrestling brings back memories
Mic really does ramble.
Oh snap, the 4th Face Of Foley was about to make himself known. Good old Santa Foley, taking in milk and cookies and giving out Mandible Claws and DDT's. #HaveANiceChristmas
Mick Foley deserves a Biopic, that movie would be a classic.
Oh, fn Ay! Foley knows Whataburger 🎉🎉🎉

That shirt is awesome!!!
Read Mic's books if you haven't. He is a storyteller of skill.
So sad this podcast is coming to a end
Why’s it ending
I don’t remember Stonecold Steve Austin in World Class Championship Wrestling
W foley is pod
AUSTIN is The King!!
I saw this video in my recommended at the side of another video and was like "dafuq? Foley is poo?" Then i realised it's POD and I didn't have to defend one of three people who are the reason i ever cared about the wrestling (the fall brawl 1993 promo)on the special episode about one of the others
foley vs orndorff, in wcw is well worth a look.,,,, if you havent already watched ;-)
Stone Cold said on a podcast with Bill Burr that Mick was one of that bad drivers along with DDP but he didn't say why .. lol😅
Stone cold is my idol ric flair is his
So Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes were invited to Vince's house, yet Mick Foley has never ever been invited to his place? It's a good question, did Steve Austin get invited for his first meeting with Vince?
believe he did, I remember Shane telling a story about it.
He did...on Steve's podcast with Bruce Prichard they talk about meeting there and Steve ate grilled chicken with mustard on it and for some reason that cracked Bruce up lol
Did Mick cut his hair? Or is this old this channel confuses me. I never know whats new and whats not.
I assume to get the Santa wig to fit better. Mick's a Santa mark :)
Flashback meaning old content discussed. From what I understand, the next new episode is supposed to be the last episode of Foley Is Pod.
Mick is a favorite of mine, I'm always a bit let down when a favorite entertainer brings their politics into their act
I don't care about those things. Trying to get away from those matters watching wrestling-related relatedness. God bless you mick.praise Jesus ,stay well.
I hope Mick did not get involved with Kast network😢
The amount of ad’s on this video is ridiculous!
btw if you havnt read his books you are missing out so hard.
I'm proudly the guy who ruined the amount of likes from 316 to 317!
❤
Why wouldn't they push someone who's popular ?
Is mick done doing new episodes?
they said there is 1 left, it's like waldo tho: gotta find it
Kudos to Mick for actually ending the podcast instead of milking it for years like others are doing…
He ended it?
When did he end it?
Why wouldn't somebody keep a podcast going if 1) they're making money at it? 2) they have things to talk about? 3) they're having fun doing it? 4) they don't have anything else going on? I was gonna say thats the dumbest shit ever to say lol especially if you getting paid...thought we was gonna agree with ya huh lol
I don’t have a problem with the ones milking it. They’re the heroes of my youth. I want to hear their tales, and for them to enjoy a rewarding retirement. I’m not bitter or jealous of their accomplishments.
Why do all the wrestlers pods have this Conrad guy on them? It's obnoxious
The giant was done and hogan sucked at working. How can they follow a steamboat match. Giant couldn't move and hodan sucked.
