I found IRONBUNNY today and I'm so sad to see they had to disband due to external factors. The whole concept had great potential, loving everything I see and hear! Best and worst day in a long time, wish things had turned out differently.
The main singer joined up with Lisa-X in a group called KOIAI. The genre is a lot different, but the musicians are all top notch. Kotono's voice has only gotten better.
Just discovered this band.........I'm a 40yr on and off drummer/singer and I so love bands with gimmicks. Then it's how good they sound, the writing, the flow of the melody.......the catchy hook. The unique or pro sounding vocals and harmonies. Then lastly the video and what they look like on stage. This is my way of checking out a new act. Definitely not Baby M. Or even Band Maid...two of several of my fav J women rock bands. Listen again without looking, crank up the surround sound speakers(if you have speakers, not headphones only) and walk around the room. The only comparison to other acts are the dresses. But everything else.....woof! I'm off to look for more of this band. Oh yea....love the IRON BUNNY!!! Mech Rock is here.
I enjoy listening to new music and glad RUclips recommended this today. I do wonder... does the lead guitarist in the robot suit have some sort of Air Conditioning. For those that compare IronBunny to Baby Metal... let these guys grow and be their own thing. It's like comparing Iron Maiden to Metallica.

Also I think Ediee is a play on EDDIE VAN HALEN in some way. If you go back to the 23 video the old guy is wearing the cover art of the album cover of VAN HALEN 1984 ALBUM. I think the producer of IRONBUNNY is a big VAN HALEN fan. Of course this is all speculation on my part....

They broke today on Metal Sucks and Metal Injuction, who broke Babymetal in 2010 so the comparisons are inevitable. Which is okay. Rush patterned themselves after Zeppelin and did just fine for themselves.

Now what I am saying is that the Japanese music scene does not have an easy time making it in North America. I have been a fan or their rock music. I can list about 25 bands I listen to daily but will just waste space on them all so here are a few... Band Maid, Mary's Blood, Gachapin ( Gacharic Spin ), Dolls Box and Fuki to name a few. Bow Wow is pop. I don't listen to pop so I really don't remember them. I did look them up and remember their music now. In general we get 50 to one groups from the rest of the world compared to Japan. There is more talent and diverse writing in Japan compared to just the US. Well I am talking about bands with lable distribution. My point was why? Why do we have to dig to find these bands but get fed the same basic re-worked music that we get. I do not listen to the radio anymore. I dig in the internet. Even in US music I found Son's of Apollo but could never see where anything was given radio play in the US.
I'm impressed with Japan's rock, metal potential. I wonder if people here have heard of BRATS? They rock pretty good too. And I really enjoy the female singers!

Because Japanese women know how to play cool music and be cool badass without cheap feminism and other politic crap. I still remember how some girls ignored the ANN question when the interviewer tried to get certain statements from them, claiming that the girl musician is something unusual in the "genre dominated by men".
American rock sound, Japanese style... absolutely love it, keep playing it over and over. Love Babymetal too but there is very little similar in music stylings...which is a good thing. Can't wait for more videos to come out. We got a winner here🤟🤟🤟🤟
A music scene is not born out of a one group alone. One more popular group may become a gateway to the genre for beginners, but at this point there are always at least 5-10 other groups.

BabyMetal play Metal mixed with J-Pop IronBunny are straight up Rock N Roll in the veins of 80s shredders like Eddie Van Halen, Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, Randy Rhoads and many others. つい先日、19万回を超えていたのでそろそろかと思っていましたが、今朝見てみたら20万回を超えていました。
たまたまyoutubeのおすすめに２３のMVが出ていて、興味本位で開いたのが最初だったんですが、
それが8月31日。
9月3日にはリリイベも見に行きました。
IBを切っ掛けにして昔のバンドを思い出して聞いたり、今の活動状況を調べたりしているのは
僕だけじゃないのでは？と思ったりもしています。
（ザックリ言って）我々が30年ほど前に好きだったバンドを思い出させる様な曲を、300年後の未来から来たギタリストが作り演奏する。。
それを、10代の女子三人が彼女らなりの解釈で歌うというのは何だか面白い事なんじゃないかな、、と思うのです。
なんだこれ！！
この曲完成度高すぎ…感動しました！
ベビーメタルから来ましたが、こちらは3人の超絶ハーモニーメタルなのですね。

A music scene is not born out of a one group alone. One more popular group may become a gateway to the genre for beginners, but at this point there are always at least 5-10 other groups.
