It also highlights that the moguls weren't wrong either hence Sevika's dilemma
I would love a little more of singed and heimer but thats probably for S2, specially Singed he would have a major role not only in Arcane but in the next serie of RIOT if is what we all think it is
The pacing of Vi's and Caitlyn's relationship could've been a lot better. Still, you know it's a goated show when that's really the only real complaint, and it isn't even that big of an issue

I don’t understand how Netflix could produce a show with such phenomenal voice acting as Arcane, then a show with atrocious voice acting like the Transformers War For Cybertron anime.
It's not like most shows, you can acculy hear the emotion behind the characters voices. In some ways it reminds me of harry potter. In order of the pheonix, Daniel Radcliff had such a horible scream when sirius died that warner bros. muted the scene. Though in this show they have the true emotion throughout the entire series and it's so good that you can't tell that it's fabricated. In hp Daniel had just lost a close family member and also knew that he wouldn't work with gary oldman(siruis) ever again making him have accual emotion in the shot. I know it's a bit of a rant but I feel like it's prettey nececary. I have almost never seen voice acting done on this caliber.
Arcane is a genuine masterpiece. And the best, craziest thing? Riot can do a lot more with their universe than just Piltover and Zaun. A LOT more. Warwick next season is gonna be a genuine beast.

I think there will be a big plot twist of warwrick. Cause in the last episode when it showed clips of everyone you can see the singed sitting on a chair and glanced at a silhouette of what looks like Vander on my opinion.

It was only able to fall so far because of how massive they got. A lot of marvels problems wouldn’t be issues if it weren’t for Disney and seeing as the creative teams at riot and fortiche knew how much care needed to be put into the first season, I don’t anticipate a dip in quality for a good long while

I have that critique as well but if I’m honest, it’s not a realistic critique to have on big budget animated shows like this because a single episode to flesh out the characters and their relationships a bit more would cost million of dollars. The fact that they condensed this much story in just 9 episodes without making the pacing of the main 2 plots (Vi & Jinx and Zaun vs Piltover) feel forced is already crazy

I think my biggest (and probably only) complaint is it doesn't escape the cliché of "character eavesdropping walks away before they hear the full conversation and get hurt by what other person was saying before they finished talking" It always makes me think, if it were me in that situation I would stay and hear the rest.. I literally watched video essays and analyses of arcane weekly for almost a year solid, and now once every couple of months only because people aren't making as many. Shoutout to schnee, flyingwalrus, and Georgia Dow as some of the channels with the best Arcane content.
i started watching this show because i had nothing else to watch, and after the fist few eps i became hooked. ITS SOO GOOD. like i honestly thought people were exaggerating how great this show is but they aren’t.
At the time i hated LoL (now one of my friends dragged me into the dark with him), and i just laughed at the thought of this show, didnt bother with it until my mom told me she wanted to watch it with me, and i was beyond blown away, the characters were incredible, the action and style was top notch, the dialog was realistic and not cringy at all in most places, and the VA's did an incredible job selling that.
Jinx gives more autistic vibes to me. A lot of people say that BPD is co-morbid with ASD, I disagree. She is a traumatised, twice exceptional, autistic girl. She's destructive, yes. Struggles with interpersonal relationships, yes. But BPD? It's not even a real thing, it's just a modern day label for hysteria. _Any person would fear abandonment, especially a child who just lost her whole family._ Some say she's BPD, socio, narc. Nope. Psychotic, autistic genius. If BPD was even a real thing, in order for it to develop, you would not had a single person in your life validating you growing up. Powder had Silco validating her gifts and determination. Jinx has a sense of self. She knows herself to not be weak, and she knows she's wicked smart. The only leeway that sounds like BPD is when she drops the grenade after Ekko reaches her. Any person who realises they've been had, who fought for a cause that she so believed in, would do what she did. Abandonment issues and self sabotage doesn't need to be pathologised as a personality disorder. Those aren't troubles of a personality type. Those are trauma wounds which can be healed.

As someone who knows nothing about LoL other than the players of the game dont shower, this was a great watch. Its sad to see powder suffer from abandonment trauma, I couldn’t handle what happened after she unalived her brothers that hurt to see.
I want to add aswell, hopefully the show separates itself from the game if that makes sense, kinda like how how overwatch does because this allowes the story to be expanded on past what we see in game. I see with how they killed off joyce thats what theyre doing but I personally dont want to see powder stay as jinx (episode 3 broke me)

This a master piece, I have watched more than 1000 both popular and underrated tv serieses, animes, cartoons. But there is only thing that got me more addicted than this(that is Jojo's bizarre adventure). This just cannot be called a mere tv show. Arcane deserve a better recognition

Till 2021 i had no idea that a league of legends series had come out on netflix and i watched all episodes this past Saturday and oh boy what a masterpiece that was i seriously couldn't believe how much of good work they have done with everything
I think the only thing that took me time to get used to was the animation. I've never seen that type of style before and it was quite jarring. After I got used to it, I came to love it. The way the characters move with such fluidity is masterful. Every setting shot is basically a work of art. Now when I see it, I am in awe of it.
I've been rewatching it and trying to do a super deep analysis of the story and it has become my favourite show of all time. I think I've seen it 6 or 7 times at this point

To this day, I honestly struggle to find anything I dislike about season 1. It was clearly a labor of love in every department and it paid off.

Till 2021 i had no idea that a league of legends series had come out on netflix and i watched all episodes this past Saturday and oh boy what a masterpiece that was i seriously couldn't believe how much of good work they have done with everything
Episode 3 is the best imo, but even then, entire show is a masterpiece

I think the only thing that took me time to get used to was the animation. I've never seen that type of style before and it was quite jarring. After I got used to it, I came to love it. The way the characters move with such fluidity is masterful. Every setting shot is basically a work of art. Now when I see it, I am in awe of it.

I've been rewatching it and trying to do a super deep analysis of the story and it has become my favourite show of all time. I think I've seen it 6 or 7 times at this point
