Me too, this is one of the last of the 80s sounding "mall pop" tunes and it definitely sounds like something that would be released sometime around 1987-88, not many songs from 1992 sounded like this, Kathy Troccoli should have been more successful and this song should be getting a lot of airplay on the light rock stations and the variety stations instead of falling into obscurity.

Amy Grant did the same thing, where she was a Christian singer who did an Adult Contemporary Pop cross-over to get a larger fan-base. That was the thing to do back in the early 90s. Nonetheless this is a great song!
