Hi and thanks this informative vid. Note to all, if u are using right hand drive car (UK), access to the filters is at the driver foot well.

Its a pain to change the filters and you can NOT inspect for debri inside the case .
The worst is to change ( the battery is hiden behind a ton of plastic covers) and reprogramme the the new battery , especially if is not original BMW.
I miss my old X3 (2007) and the 3.18i BMW from 2002 . Thise used to have benzine filter for protection.
    The F60 doesn't have.
    THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.

Do you have any suggestions on removing that bottom large panel after taking out the screws? I know it's secured by some clips and I'm just afraid of pulling down too hard and breaking the panel. Thank you!!

I was able to get it out. There are two holes near the screw and I used a screwdriver and put it in the back hole (towards the front of the car) and put some pressure towards the back of the car and gently tugged at the cover and it came off. Now I’m trying to get that blue speaker connector off. It’s so tiny and it’s hard to see if there is a tiny flange I need to squeeze to get it unplugged from the speaker. If anyone has some tips on how to take that off, that would be great! Or if I figure it out, I will share!

Why does everything have to be so complicated in this vehicle

Because you have to pay a lot of money for labor

The main answer is trying to fit a mid size level of features and tech/hardware into a relatively small car
I have the last gen and have to remove my coolant tank to get to my oil filter because it's just such a packed little engine bay lmao
