I do my best to be Christian in public and in private, despite what is being done to me. I think it’s important to be authentic, to not be carbon copies of each other , rather to say and do things that align with Gods Word. It is unfortunate that the world tries to tell us what to say , what to do ,and even how to act. I just choose to listen to God and to allow him to set the standard for how I live.
I want to start wearing dresses more often, I realized the reason I wasn’t was because I felt cold in my home unless I wear a sweater and my cardigans didn’t comfortably go over the sleeves of my dresses. I need to get a couple cardigans with bigger looser sleeves so that I can make the dresses work!

No, not so specifically, however, Deuteronomy 22:5 does say “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.” Some may discount or debate this though because it is in the Old Testament. I do think it isn’t like the old testament where it is a legalistic ‘rule’ but the principle still applies and it still shows us God’s desire. It just that now because of Jesus it is a heart/ relational issue. Like she spoke of in this video. God cares more about the disposition of the heart than the outward appearance but the more our heart becomes aligned and transformed to His likeness and in line with His truth ( the word of God/ the Bible) the more we can walk closer to Him and know Him better. The outward actions will follow.

You can wear leggings/thermals or long sleeve shirts under your dresses. 🙂
