Great to see a coach using a real pupil as an example .

This is a great drill Travis, it facilitates low body rotation and the ability to stay in posture allowing the arms plenty of space through the ball.

I just videoed myself and had a very similar heel lift as Dave. I really like that grip and rotate to 2 o'clock feel. Going to try it on the range today. thanks!

I have a tendency to be too quick with my legs and my upper body lags and I push it off to thr right. I think I'm too on my toes. Gonna go try this drill at the range now. I like the right foot two o'clock reference..thanks!!

I started to do something very strange at the time but has worked insane. I started to measure tour pros after I found it out and they seem to all do it. When I lift my lead heel when I replant it I try to get it ahead of my toe. Doesn’t get there of course but it gets everything moving how it should for me

Great video, PLEASE HELP!! can I turn my trail foot to 2 o’clock during my backswing, so I can feel that pressure into the ground with the inside of my trail heel? Opposed doing it during my downswing. I feel like it helps me load up on the trail side during backswing.

He’s got the idea considering the gentleman is standing to close to the ball. I’m praise the advice based on conventional teaching.

Hey Travis, I have the same problem that Dave has where I get into my toes from just before the top of my swing through transition and all the way down through impact which is making the club get steep on the way down and then I have to stand up out of posture out on my toes even more to get the club to the ball. But I also have the issue of a Flat R foot 🦶 until after impact which I’m thinking also limits my hip rotation on the downswing and adds to my coming out of posture as well. Will the drill in this video help me even with a flat R foot at impact? Thanks 🙏 Travis!

If you lift your right heel very slightly at address your weight will automatically go there on your backswing. Try it.
