Hi David. One method I used to learn this was to practice the intro without looking at my hands. It forced me to mentally visualize and focus. That was my breakthrough. Hope that could be helpful to others
Dude... this the best lesson in this song out there.. I have looked at a good few today and could not get It... thanks. This is pure teaching with no showboating.. congratulations. you really know your stuff and the graphics were excellent.. shows hours of preparation..I certainly will be coming back here and recommending to all.
Great instruction, great details, great tips. Love that you not only explain "what" to do, but the"why" behind finger placement to make upcoming chords more efficient. Finally I really appreciate the details about when to strum as well as how to highlight individual notes of the melody into the pattern...too many instructors fail to demonstrate this. Thank you!
Just stumbled on the site and love how you teach. So simple and take it slow. Love the sheet music and I am supporting you on patreon. Great job!! You’ll be my goto go for lessons here on. Thanks!!
you all probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me
@Allen Gustavo thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Congratulations, the best teaching of this song ever! I played it for years but never really got it down properly, Justin guitar and Marty music 🎶 don't get the job done like you just have, well done!!
Another excellent lesson, I know you are asking for Beatles songs, but there are many many out there already. I am a great fan of the late Tim Hardin, his stuff just never gets much cover. I would really appreciate a lesson on "If I were a carpenter", or "Reason to believe". Thanks again for your teaching...
Thanks for the comment and encouragement! Doing play along covers is something I’ve wanted to get back to doing regularly, I appreciate you mentioning it. Stay tuned!
That must be the best lesson easy to understand for a new beginner As you said do it until it hurts to get good at it thanks for the understanding the struggle when you new at it . Specially fingers position is awkward at the beginning. You are TERRIFIC as a tutor. to take it slow piece at a time . Thanks a million Keep the Beatles songs coy.
i played this song years ago very well havent played in 20 years just getting back into guitar but stop telling people its tricky that would discourage a lot of people
That was awesome!!!! Can you tell me the model of the Taylor guitar you are using here? I'm in the market for a new acoustic guitar. I'm leaning heavily toward a Taylor, but I'm not sure which one yet. It's totally overwhelming. You make that guitar sound fantastic. Thanks so much for sharing....
I think I’ve finally figured out guitar tab. At least had a breakthrough. It was just upside down and backwards to me. I’ve been improving on my chords. No I can get my fingers moving and pick individual strings.

Great lesson. So you want suggestions for more Beatles songs? How about Across The Universe or Octopus's Garden?
Thanks Andy! Really appreciate the suggestions. I could see both of those being fun ones to learn - will add them to the list!
That must be the best lesson easy to understand for a new beginner

Great lesson....you have a new subscriber.
Like the person below I stumbled on this site too ! Great format and teaching. So I liked and Subscribed.
Good advice. I always give myself at least a few weeks to learn a song. Hard to have all 4 fingers on the extended pinky note and not get string buzz.
Thanks for the lesson man!
Esta con madre este tutorial Bro !
Thanks for shared ! And did it easy for us !
Great lesson from a great teacher! Can do "In color" by Jamey Johnson or another one of his tunes?

Could you do a lesson on Long Way From Home by The Lumineers. Nobody else has done one yet and I really want to learn he pattern
THANK YOU DAVID! COULD YOU PLEASE DO A LESSON ON DON'T STOP BELIEVING? I'LL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Hi, Your lessons are great. The guitar has a good tone. What Taylor is it ?
All Taylors have great tone! But mucho $$$
Can you please do acoustic does Fort Worth ever cross your mind??? I’m trying to play it for my father but I can’t find a lesson anywhere
I want to buy the tabs...what is the benefit of GOING PRO? Do you still buy the song but at a discount?
If you play and can teach the electric guitar as well as you do the acoustic, that would be *awesome* !!!!!!!
My acoustic is tuned to Eb can I just capo at fret 3 ? Sorry for maybe a dumb question.
I think I’ve finally figured out guitar tab. At least had a breakthrough. It was just upside down and backwards to me. I’ve been improving on my chords. No I can get my fingers moving and pick individual strings.
Thank-you for the lesson....
I want to learn I'm all out of by Air supply

Hey could you do greyhound and city boy by calpurnia plzzzzz🙏🙏
YOUR AWESOME THANKS!!!
HELP WITH MY PINKY..... PLEASE
Phrase 1 of the intro riff is 4-2-0 ... Coincidence?
Everyone plays this riff incorrectly. If you listen to the song he hits multiple strings not just one for the most part
First tone is not corect
