Thanks man. Been trucking for 4 years now im 33. Paid off all of my debt. Over the last 2 years ive invested into my company's simple ira its close to 20k. Ive got about 40k in savings and owe 80k on my home. I have a side hustle that averages me about an extra 40k a year after tax. November of this year i will be getting the biggest check of my life estimated somewhere between $30k and 60k. I really needed to hear this today. Ive been thinking about buying a truck next year. Im not even sure if thats the best investment i could make. Its hard to not get emotional especially when the decisions can change your life... good or bad.
40k is pretty serious, perhaps you should come on as a guest some time. I think people need to hear it.
