88-98 Chevrolet C1500 OBS Truck Review - The Last REAL Chevy Trucks

This is my 1989 Chevrolet C1500 on the GMT400 platform. It’s got a carbureted 305 and a 5 speed.

When those OBSs were first produced in 88, they only came in regular cab & extended cab pickup models at the time because the crew cab pickup & SUV models with the previous square body design were still in production which lasted up through 91. In 92, the crew cab pickup & SUV models were finally redesigned to the OBS design. All of those OBSs were fuel injected. The square bodies were the last to have carburetors which was in 86 & also the first to have fuel injection which was in 87.
