I've only ordered from Book Outlet a couple times, but it's always a surprise when it arrives! 😆 I love owls, too and I'm pretty sure I have _Owl Be Home for Christmas_ on my Kindle. 🦉😉 Thanks for sharing!
I’m a bookoutlet fanatic. I order from them a lot. Sometimes once a month sometimes every other month. Rarely less than ten sometimes way more than ten. Especially when they do 5.99 fiction. My packages usually arrives within 7 business days to Florida. The website has great tracking. Personally I’ve never been disappointed or gotten a wrong item or missing item. I’ve made at least 30 purchases. I love these haul videos and I love your taste in books.
I have read Fairest of Heart and it was cute. My daughter listened to If the Boot Fits and said it was even better. 😊 I think that Sarah Sundin book is the one of hers I have read (so far). If so, it was good! 😁
That particular Sarah Sundin title I have not read, but I have read two other titles by her. They are part of the “Wings of the Nightingale” trilogy. I really enjoyed them. She has two other trilogies that I will be reading in the near future. The Karen Witemeyer books are on my radar but I have not read any book from that author, yet. Happy Reading!
❤📚❤️ I added both Texas Ever After books to my list! Great book, haul! I love ordering box sets from Book Outlet when they get marked down. I just ordered a six book set ... still waiting.
You'll love When Twilight Breaks. In fact, didn't you read Until Leaves Fall in Paris? That one has Peter Lang show up, and When Twilight Breaks is about Peter and what he's doing in Munich. (as well as a female war correspondent). Fairest of Heart was... okay. I feel like I didn't love it as much as I might have because I listened on audio and it wasn't the most amazing audio. I LOVED talking to Karen about the series, though, and I intend to read the next one with a hardcopy to see if that helps. Those cozies... you sold me. I LOVE a good play on words!
I once ordered from Book Outlet at the beginning of December and by the end of January I contacted them wondering where it was. It ended up taking almost 3 months to get to me and the box was very beat up, but all books were okay.😊
The bird series is long running and fantastic! Every title is based on a different bird. Total score on those hardbacks. I have read Murder in Postscript and umm, it was meh for me.
@@mitzireadsandwrites It is such a long running series I cannot see the harm. Sure, you'll lose some of the back story and character relationship growth but if reading out of order doesn't make you want to pull out your hair, go for it! 😁😇
Loved those books by Karen Witemeyer and Sarah Sundin. You don't need to read the Texas Ever After books in a particular order as they are not connected to one another other than being fairytale retellings.
Getting the wrong book is a super common problem with these big online booksellers. In my opinion they’re too lazy to tell you what individual book they have so they have a template with usually the best looking cover shown in the picture which of course draws more attention. I have gone back to these companies countless times - because there’s more than just the one you mentioned - it seems to be all of them - and I’ve complained that I did not get the right book, which is true. I got the correct title, but not the correct book! And much of the time I find they say oh just keep it. And refund me. Not what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a particular cover. So if they can’t provide that cover, then I go ahead and keep the book but it doesn’t make me very happy. I have virtually stopped shopping with these booksellers online. They are cheap. Unless it is a book that I simply want to read and I don’t care about the quality or appearance of the book. As a collector of course it usually does mean something very important to me. I don’t think they should advertise a book they don’t have! And your picture is a huge part of your advertisement! it should really be illegal. They get around it by always saying that you have to look up the ISBN number to see which cover you’re getting. I don’t accept that. I tell them that they are engaging in false advertising by putting a wrong picture in the advertisement. Some respond to that and some don’t. It’s easier for me to wait until I see the cover in person somewhere and buy it that way. Or get it from an individual seller who will put the appropriate picture in their ad! I get so aggravated - as you can see here! LOL!!😂😩
I have been in your shoes! It’s very annoying and they SHOULD put up the proper picture. So if I’m really wanting a particular cover from them, I’ll copy the ISBN number and look it up. A pain but I’d rather do that than be annoyed by getting the wrong cover. I doubt they’ll change so what else can you do?

I love the Donna andrews series!! You will not regret getting them all!
So fun! I like Thrift Books as well for cheap books.

I've never ordered from Book Outlet but I have been working on an order for a couple days. Trying to decide what to buy. 😂
😂that's what I do!! 😂I have carts of books all over the place lol.

I am pretty sure Book Outlet ships from Canada (99.9% sure.) which explains the shipping times. It does take forever! But such good deals!
yes, I can't pass of the great deals!
Love Donna Andrew’s book, the books are great

I have read the Meg Langslow mysteries - one of my favorite mystery series!
