Thank you for supplying me with the wreath pattern so quickly. I have decided to keep making Christmas gifts and decorations for next Christmas. That way I will be ahead of the game next year.
wow I just bought this tool and will receive it this Thursday. Glad I watched this before I get the tool. I did notice though for precaution and speed you could cut the whole row from left to right taking in consideration seam allowance before you mark up using the tool. This way you wouldn't be taking a chance in cutting the next row.
Thanks for this tutorial! Love the idea of number marking the sections to help stay organized. Also, the Twisted Sister tools have black lines marked on their tool. Easier to see than these white marks. And the June Tailor Twist ‘n Stitch Slotted Ruler overs multiple sizes in just one tool! Very economical and the slots prevent cutting into the next section to cut. Super fun to use!!
Thanks Jennifer for sharing what is not known in the pattern. Since you’re using such small squares, I would highly recommend the use of spray sizing on fabric before cutting which will help with possible distortion issues. Rob Appell of Missouri Star has designed a Applicutter Rotary Cutter which would be great for this pattern since the pieces are so close to one another.
I made one of these when I was still a fairly new quilter. You do have to be careful, but please don’t be afraid of doing this. Once you figure out what she’s explaining, it will go together very fast and you will love it. I mean mine for Fourth of July colors and will now make a Christmas one. I’ve been ill, so I have not quilted for a long time, this is definitely on my radar for a quick project. You can do it in a day. By the way, my twister ruler was a little bit bigger than hers.
Wishing I would have had your video before I created little quilts with the tool. I love the tool but the process is challenging which I love. Thank you!
Thank you for the video Jennifer, the quilt is lovely! I think I'd be tempted to cut the squares out with scissors and keep my fingers crossed that I wouldn't be sacrificing accuracy.
Since we were following the pattern from Need'l Love, we didn't attempt this project that way, but if you do try it, please let us know how it goes for you! -Michelle
Hi Lynn! You can find all the pattern requirements here: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Twister-Holiday-Pattern-P48399.aspx This one is not precut friendly, but you can use Fat Quarters! - Morgan
From what I'm reading the Tiny Twister works with a 3.5" square, whereas the pattern calls for a 3" square. That doesn't sound like a lot, but it's going to end you up with a quilt that is a few inches larger than stated, and will use more fabric. I've been searching online for the Primitive Pinwheels tool and cannot find one in the stated size.
Hello Terry! We send our quilts to our local quilter who works her magic! We do not have a list of the templates that she uses for our quilts but I can see in the picture for this video, she did some swirls. Which I think look amazing! ~Leah
I've learned to be very careful with the Frixion pens, as they are stationary not a quilting aid. After using one on a quilt and then pressing it I was left with silvery lines over the fabric.
Absolutely! We have a pattern available as well as a full kit! Pattern: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Twister-Holiday-Pattern-P48399.aspx Kit: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Twister-Holiday-Wall-Hanging-Kit-P48368.aspx

Quick note, if you cut it like she does..you could use the next size down "tiny twister" and make a smaller quilt, only smaller :)

So sorry the timing didn't work out :) Thanks for watching and commenting- happy to hear you were able to finish your project without the tutorial!

Great video Jennifer, thank you soooo much!
Thank YOU for watching and taking the time to comment!
Love this! Any suggestion for piecing if you wanted to use just one background fabric instead of cutting all those squares?
Since we were following the pattern from Need'l Love, we didn't attempt this project that way, but if you do try it, please let us know how it goes for you! -Michelle
It is shocking the pattern . Thanks for sharing.
So glad you enjoy it as much as we do. Thank you for watching! - Morgan
How much material do you need for this wreath? Can you use a charm pac? How many squares? I’m a newbie, so these questions are probably goofy!!

This tutorial is showing how to use the Primitive Pinwheels Template (Twister Tool) from Primitive Gatherings!

Yes- we are sure to use friXion pens where they will be hidden within a seam allowance or covered with stitching :)
Eu comprei o Kit e fiz. Ficou exatamente igual. Lindo, lindo!!
Yay! Estamos felizes em saber que você gostou do nosso kit! Nós gostaríamos de ver fotos do seu projeto finalizado! :) -Kyla
