Thanks for the informative video! I didn't realize this testing was so important. I had a saltwater tank for many years and never did this testing before. Thanks again for sharing 😊
Awesome video mate, very informative!!. I test my main perameters with the NT Lab marine kit for nitrate, Nitrite, pH and ammonia and also a salifert Phosphate Kit, I have a reef testing kit on order. I didn't think you could use ordinary tapwater for a marine tank?. I use RO water. Your aquarium is looking great too. That test kit looks amazing to see all that it tests. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks a tonne as always mate! yeah haha, tap water isn't recommended because of how many additional things they add to it. Sometimes its toxic or just causes a tonne of algae and issues in a reef tank, but my suburb gets some of the cleanest tap water in Melbourne to I have no issues.
Very interesting video, even for a non reefer like me. I would love to know if you find out about the barium. I know it is used in drilling mud but that doesn't explain why you have it!
Drilling mud?! whaaat haha. Thank you for sharing that mate! I'm curious to see if an ICP can be done on a freshwater system haha. I'll give you an update on the barium if I manage to find the cause.
Your videos just keep getting better
Thank you so so much! Legit made my day seeing this haha.

Please do a rhino horn goby care sheet!
Oh they are such cute fish! I'd totally do a care guide but I don't have a rhino goby sorry! I really want one now haha

I could never imagine doing a saltwater tank cause im so lazy 😅
Bahaha, surprisingly this tank aside from weekly water changes doesn't take up that much time! it's pretty self sustaining.
