He said that art is nervous energy both positive and negative but if it doesnt need to get out of a person then it wont. He does say people who relate to art are understanding it. No no.. people feel art, they identify with it because they don’t understand it. If they understand the aritst and the process and psyche it took to creat it they wouldnt identify with it as their own. There are passenger songs that are mine, they are my interpretation. If i knew what he actually meant, if i fully understood it i might find a different interpretation than the precious one i found in relating to it just for myself. That is the essence of good art is that it gets to a general nature of what it means to be human. and everyone can identify Greg alan isakov said something similar in an interview.
