I think one thing I’m concerned about is whether this will make it easier or harder for small time athletes to push their way into comps like the x games. Seems like with this setup that would really be for the individual teams to decide how they want to handle that. Imo I think it could go either way. Regardless this is great for existing pros for sure.

I honestly think it’s better because there is more avenues to peruse, the high level athletes will opt to do some x games events over World Cup and open up more space for others to get there start
