I love to crank this up and play and sing along with Townes. He is the reason I play and sing. I heard a singer named Lonnie Knight sing "Poncho and Lefty" in a ski lounge at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota in about 1973-4. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to do that. Had a nice phone chat with his wife a number of years ago. Amazing to me that this man, who I never met or even saw perform, has had such a lasting impact on my life.
Great tune , thanks @ Terry Canup just can't get enough of Townes.. Saw him at Poor David's Pub on Greenville - Dallas Tx.. Seems just like the 70's when I hear this tune and I am taken back to a time that shaped my musical appreciation..
The chorus of this song is a whole love story in four lines.....he was a genius.

First time hearing this. So far, only been a fan for just over a year.
Amazing
I think the correct title is "Blue Wind Blew" Maybe i'm wrong. Either way one of my favorites. Great upload!
He literally calls it “blue wind blues”
@@TheRainingInk But not on the album cover. Blue wind blew.
I wish there were more of this show to see. He seems on it.
