Hi buddy, I have 68 reg custom auto that I changed the oil on about 4 months ago. No light on, just wanted to change it. I didn’t do a reset & the option on the menu you show in your vid has gone now after the dilution update a couple of years back. Anyway, 4K miles later & now the ‘change oil soon’ message is on. I’ll change the oil anyway to be safe & wanted to know if this pedal method will work for me?
This is only the procedure to reset the service light , if your brake wear message is on you must either have low brake pads and they’ve caught sensor or there’s an issue with the sensor wiring 👍
@@diydaly ive had them done front and back today got in drove off and the light is still on now id imagine the person who has done them for me has forgot to do it which if fine but i was wondering if there was a way for me to do it before i see him again on monday, nice one for the help and the reply 👍🏻
@@SoldierDemps arr right , yes I’m afraid you’ll have to take it back , the wear sensors on the transits are pretty crap tbh , the connectors never clip together very well so I’d imagine ones just not clipped fully home or there damage/corrosion on the loom some where 👍

yeah you will have to try it and see.. it doesn't work on all models , some can only be reset using the diagnostic machine mate. ta
