Hi Johns
The answer is a Dell Optiplex and GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile
That used to be the most affordable way because there were no upgrade routes to newer technology; so it really didn't matter. However, with the AM4 Socket being supported even past 2021 and all future AM4 processors will work on older generation motherboards with a bios upgrade or vice versa, it really makes it possible to have generations of upgrades for dirt cheap, especially if you compound savings. Of course, graphics cards are going to be the more expensive part to a computer, but that depends on what the person wants for their experience. But really computers shouldn't specifically just be for gaming, with the $300 computer people can make that extra per month with simple productivity tasks.
Malik Walters Very clever comment and decision.
@@Commodore4eva that is true, building your own PC makes it way easier to upgrade, especially since Dell Optiplex sockets are pretty much outdated by now so you can't really upgrade the processor to something like a i5 8400 and some have a 8 pin motherboard connector instead of a 24 pin one

*100% the best building PC video you’ve done so far.*
PC Building tip: Look around your local community for used PC parts or ask your friends what old parts they have. I recently helped my friend build a PC with a similar budget of $250. I pulled a 7200rpm hard drive out of one of my old PCs and gave it to him plus an old case. My other friend let him buy his old 750ti, which will outperform integrated graphics by a large margin. The rest, motherboard, ram, cpu, SSD, and psu we found online, looking for the best deals. We also found a keyboard and mouse combo on sale for only $20. All and all, it has a Ryzen 3 1200, 8gb ram, and I was really surprised to get a Corsair 650watt psu for only $50. So in total, that build cost the same, if not less than this one, can vastly outperform it, and that price is including the mouse and keyboard. It runs CSGO very well and runs Doom 2016 at around 55fps on medium settings. Really good for the price! So, if you want to buy a PC, ask around and look for those deals. Have patience, you never know what you might find.

@@hugo9016 just get rx 570 its better than 1050ti and slightly better than 1060.
if you are someone who plays esport games and your on a budget i recommend this pc:
CPU & GPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with VEGA 8 graphics (similar to a GT 1030)
RAM:8Gb of DDR4 3000 Mhz
Ryzen cpus are dependent on memory clock speeds so the higher the better
Motherboard:B350 or B450 chipsets are the best of both worlds they have a good price and value and u can do some overclocking with it (Ryzen cpus are unlocked and u can oc all of them)
and for the psu i recommend a 600 w 80+ psu and dont buy just anything, buy from a trustful brand specially if you are an overclocker
and why i said 600 w ? becuse you can throw a gpu later on if u want (if u want to throw a gtx 1070 get a better psu with higher watts and dont go above gtx 1070 with this cpu ,becuse u dont see increased performance and it will bottleneck.
and for storage i recommend 128Gb SSD with a 1Tb hard drive
thanks for reading

with an extra 50$ you could buy a 1TB HHD which will be good if you use it for not only gaming or if you use it for gaming
You aren't going to be able to play AAA games on this though. Honestly should have just upgraded an old Dell lol. The upgrade path isn't worth it when you go this low end.....
sometimes buying only new parts is better, for example my grandpa wanted a new pc so i put something very similar to the pc in the video together fot him and in case something goes wrong i have warranty, and because of thr am4 socket im pretty much future proof for the next few years
@@alexk1480 Yeah, but you have a shitty motherboard, shitty slow RAM (not recommended for Ryzen) and no GPU, it really isn't all that upgradable just for the socket.
@@aleksastarinac9755 the mainboard is fine honestly and its from asus so im pretty confident in its reliability, the ram is pretty good considering that ddr4 is never really that bad as long a you use a reputable brand, and i can put in a gpu if my grandpa ever needs it (what i dont think he does) because the psu i used is strong enough for some low end cards, and its really upgradable actually. i can use full size gpus's, im using a pretty low end am4 apu so i have a lot of cpus to upgrade him to should he ever need it ans the ram can also be bumped up to 16 gigs in the future.
@@alexk1480 That's not how RAM works. The thing with Zen CPUs is that they rely a ton on RAM speed. So you probably went with the cheapest, slowest DDR4 RAM. If you're upgrading to Ryzen you'll probably need better RAM. Motherboard is fine, as in it does the job. Anything more, it won't work out. In an AM4 system I wouldn't cheap out on the motherboard and go with a good B450 or even X470 chipset (if necessary) since they are higher-end, very reliable and make upgrading easier. As I said A350 will do the job, it'll work, but you can't do anything special on it.
@@aleksastarinac9755 i know i about this, and no, i didnt just use the cheapest kid available. i looked up what ram speeds my processor would support and chose a good bang for the buck kit. also ive seen a lot of testing on ryzen, and even though ryzen benefits from faster ram, the improvements between the ram speeds arent that significant.

I think you should remove "gaming" from the title :D
Yeeet!
This was a lifesaver. I was trying to find a good PC that I could afford, and this was the only one, and it can probably run the games I play (i.e Minecraft)
Do you think this is worth saving up to buy nowadays? Anyone?
No, there is a video that shows you a pc for 100$ that, for example, runs Fortnite at 90 fps. Just search up "100 dollar pc".
It's nice and all but can it run minesweeper?
JacketClanKing maybe...
what about minecraft?
@gamer yes because it can run more complex games like first person shooters
