@Brian Jaworski 3tb here, just hit 70% on my 1tb SSD I use as my game drive, and I only have maybe a dozen games installed. I should have spent the extra money for the 2tb SSD instead.

@@GeorgeDaniel. I'm not sure. I had to download windows 10 on a flashdrive then it finally worked
In further research you wont have to update Bios if you get a new board, but if you get one that's been on the shelf for 6+ months, it might need a BIOS update.

Recommended my friend that Q300L case. It was the cheapest case with dust filters that I can find locally in Toronto Canada, and it is extremely flexible and spacious for its size with large cable management space on the back and support for such large graphics cards and tall coolers like the hyper 212 without even feeling any cramped at all. You definitely want more fans if you want good thermals tho. That case sells like hotcakes in China.

There's a few reasons you shouldn't buy this PC:
- The 3300x, at 20 dollars more, can provide a decent FPS boost mainly because of core to core latency
- The motherboard is kind of shit, there are other options that support Ryzen 3000 out of the box at similar prices.
- There is no reason to buy an SN750 for gaming. NVMe/"super fast performance" makes no difference in games.
- The PSU is CS:GO IRL. It's an old group regulated design, and also lacks OCP/OTP. Also, I don't think anyone wants condiments on their PSU cables :)

I basically bought this exact setup for my 9 year old sons first pc and my first ever pc build. I watched hours of pc builds from other youtubers along with Austin and somehow landed on this exact build without watching this video ! Getting the monitor and peripherals this weekend can’t wait to test it out !!

I watched this video and the other one you refer to as a tutorial on how to build a gaming PC. As someone with media and computer skills but who has never actually built a PC I found the info about components and how they work together really valuable and well presented... it's a great shopping list...but when it comes to actually doing the build, I still feel unprepared with some of the detail work. Wiring things together scares me the most. I also have no idea what was going on when you plugged it into a screen to test it.
