- A year has passed since the events of Fuga: Melodies of Steel. The war was fought and won. Life went on.
That is, until the children are summoned to Pharaoh to aid with the investigation of the recovered Taranis. During their survey, the Taranis suddenly goes haywire and sets out on a deadly rampage, trapping and absconding with a number of their party. The remaining children and Malt board their erstwhile enemy-the dread tank Tarascus-to chase after the Taranis and save their friends.

My soul cannon was on 2 turns and I had no mana left for the final boss. Boron saved me with his hype by destroying the shields and killing it
Ironically the bad ending is probably the hardest ending to get
Yes that is the hardest one to get
The normal ending is really dreadful, especially with the children's comment and these two form with black line, the black lines is truly horrifying
I find it quite interesting the relationship between AI Hax and the crew, and his sacrefice in the true ending.
Not only it allowed our little heroes to cooperate with someone who in previous game was the final boss, but it also gave a new perspective.
What if Hax's path took different turn? I think A.I Hax is representation of this character if he wasn't a commader of hostile army with desire to revive what in his religion is considered a God.
But rather a comrade fighitng alongside the children who respected their determination and decided to sacrefice himself to help them achieve victory. Seems in character to me.
He was called a hero in their side for a reason. 🤔 We still don't know the full reason why the invasion happened
As for me, also quite good part was just 2 frames with Jin's old redheaded friend. Shows really good how the Malt was going through the same way as Jin went year ago.
Why the vanilla's soul cannon scene and port arrival 12 scene, didn't show up In events list?!
Man, the bad endings are so weird in this and the first game. The ending is unsatisfying to the enth degree, but getting there is borderline impossible unless you specifically try to get it.
Just shows some true attention to detail in these games!
Indeed, is way harder getting bad instead of true ending . Save vanilla only need 6 link events from 6 children. Bad ending need to playthough the game with less main power, especially those dangerous route when they can just depressed ur kid
@@collectorhubs Right? Thankfully or unthankfully, depending on how you see it, they kinda sorta scream at you to have affinity with Vanilla, so it's really hard to miss.
@@VeggieTheEdgy ya, plus her skill is build for killing any boss under 50%, no way you dont try to pair her with others children
@@collectorhubs don't forget to mention that in bad end route the game will be harder and harder as there'll be less and less unit in the roster and the opponent are getting tougher.
The bad end is truly for those who seek out challenge.
wait what woulda happened if you chose to trust jihl and hanna on the first option and chose "fire the soul cannon" in the second option? would Malt be the only one who dies or does something else happen?
If I recall, malt will never be the one in cannon until the last 1 or 2 children left.
@@collectorhubs thats only during the entirety of the gameplay. 26:20 right here i wanna know what'd happen if you woulda said "fire the soul cannon" instead of "we swear on our tails, we'll never give up"
for those who interested to get . here is how
True ending: No child/ soul cannon shot + save Hanna /Pick true Hanna and Jinn after defeat boss + Vanilla have at least 6 lvl 2 children affinity to save her + 12 children survived
Normal ending: Pick no Shot/ Used Soul Cannon shot/Vanilla Death
Bad Ending: Used all Soul Cannon and no children at final
Resolution: 12 Children + Max /90 Resolution
Empathy: 12 Children Max /90 Empathy
* we only use cheat engine on bad ending/resolution after we achieve true ending with normal gameplay, we do not rush to max affinity or weapons upgrade to test what lead to true ending

thank you for this video - I finished the game with true ending, but don't want to go for bad ending. I've one question: Vanilla died in normal ending, why is she in the cut scene?

Question can I get the bad ending on new game + if Vanilla has 6 link events?
I think it works like Blitz's event in the first game. You can always willingly sacrifice him to the soul cannon whenever, but if you fail to meet the prerequisite you can't get the true ending.

I need help on saving vanilla. I replayed the game like four times and I can’t save hern no matter what ;-;
If I not wrong just let her have at least two heart on 5 characters, then u can save her.?
@@collectorhubs I figured it out after I commented that, I kept playing after she got got exploded,
@@collectorhubs i woulda had 2 hearts on all characters with vanilla just to be safe
