You practically just changed my life with modelling with this tool....
I've always been snapping to grid or vertex...but faces?!?!
    So many lost opportunities.
    Thank you so much!

This in depth content that's focused on a tool is super informative and useful. The surface-to-surface ability is great to know, along with knowing the rotation issues. I would have had that issue inside the next hour as I want to place a bunch of bolts and other details onto an object's surface. Being able to change their orientation is a big bonus. If it wasn't for the extra minutes in this video, I'd have spent hours extra on this project.

Thank you for your words. Always try to deliver in-depth of the tool. Sometime gets criticized for length but always believed that someone out there might need them. Welcome . Please subscribe and stay tuned.

Hey this is awesome, just the tutorial I needed, but Ive come to some issues when trying to do this with floating geometry I am not able to create the blue arrow towards the bottom, now I remedy this by creating a centre point with some geometry but it defeats the purpose of floating geometry.
    Thanks,

This tool only seems to work with two simple objects. As soon as your faces are bent on your one object the tool won't work.
